Adasi with Ash noodles ( Persian Reshteh) is a traditional dish in Saghez, in Kurdistan Province.
Ingredients,
Lentils, 1 cup
  Adasi with  Ash Noodles
Salt, pepper, turmeric, mint and pennyroyal powder, as required
Ash noodles, cut into small pieces, 1/2 cup
Onion, 1 no
Procedure,
Soak cleaned lentils in water for a couple of hours. Then drain the water and put lentils inside a pot and pour enough water. Let it cook until only a small amount of water is left. Since once lentils are done, they lose their shape and therefore they should be mixed with fried flour or chopped potatoes to make the dish thick in consistency. But in this recipe there is no need to do so. Fry the nicely chopped onion until golden in color and sprinkle in turmeric, salt, powdered mint and pennyroyal. Once lentils are cooked, add in the fried onion with spices. Cut noodles in small pieces and add them together with fried fried onion. Put the pot over low heat till it gets enough thickness. Turn off the heat and transfer to your desired dish.
