Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Ale Kashef Al-Ghata belives that fairness in the following verse piety and reality of faith in God;
O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.
He believes that meanings of fairness are defined in four meanings: 1. Fairness between a person and his or her soul;
And spend of your substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands contribute to (your) destruction; but do good; for Allah loveth those who do good.
2. Fairness between a person and a creator;
Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour.
O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination.
3. Fairness between a person and other creatures;
O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).
4. Fairness of God toward creatures: fairness is one of attributes of God, one of branches of monotheism matter and religious principles and if we do not believe in it, the religion will not be complete and pure.
1. The first matter:
Fairness between a person and his or her soul that prevents him or her from irritarting affairs such as desires and drowning into lust and vices.
Quran states
And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord´s (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires.
''Their abode will be the Garden''.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) states
'' The worst enemy of a person is his or her soul that is located in both sides''.
It has been expressed in the Khotbe of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) about a person that has fairness in relation to his or her soul '' the first fairness of a person is to deny desires, to describe reality and act it''.
The second matter:
Fairness between a person and creator is to confess unity of God and such a person does not consider any partners for Godin worshipping, does not find any resorts except God and obeys only God. These are considered as the foundation of all rights and the basis of piety.
3. The third matter
There are a lot of documents from Quran, Sunnah, sayings and researches in relation to fairness of a person and other creatures. Imam Ali (peace be upon him) states to his child, Imam Hasan (peace be upon him), in a will '' like for others whatever you like for yourself and do not like for others whatever you do not like for yourself. Do not tyrannize people as you do not like that others tyrannize you and help others as you like that others help you''. Imam Ali (peace be upon him) considers fairness superior than courage and states '' fairness is better than courage because if people establish fairness among others, they will be needless of courage''. He also states '' fairness has a face, but tyranny has different faces. Therefore, tyrannizing others is easy, but establishing fairness among others is difficult''.
4. The fourth matter
It is fairness of God toward creatures. All of the rules of God are fair and there is no tyranny in them. There are no tyranny, fault and corruption in God.
Quran refers to the justice of God and he is out of tyranny;
Allah is never unjust in the least degree: If there is any good (done), He doubleth it, and giveth from His own presence a great reward.
Verily Allah will not deal unjustly with man in aught: It is man that wrongs his own soul.
Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye: will ye not receive admonition?
To Him will be your return- of all of you. The promise of Allah is true and sure. It is He Who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that He may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness; but those who reject Him will have draughts of boiling fluids, and a penalty grievous, because they did reject Him.
But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed unto them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, Say: "Bring us a reading other than this, or change this," Say: "It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow naught but what is revealed unto me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come).
