Wheat groats, or Yarma, 1 cup
Carrots, small, 2 nos
Potatoes, small, 2 nos
Tomato paste, 1 tbsp
Minced meat, 100 g
Water, 2 1/2 cups
Onion, 1 no
Oil, as required
Salt, as per taste
Turmeric, a pinch
Directions
Chop the onion into pieces and fry in the pan with oil. Once golden brown, add in turmeric powder, minced meat and tomato paste, stirring. Then add in chopped carrots and potatoes. Reduce the heat to low. Cover the pan and give it 10 minutes to cook a little. Add in wheat groats along with 2 1/2 cups salted water and keep on the heat. Once the entire water evaporates, put the lid wrapped in a piece of cloth. After a couple of minutes the dish is ready. Bon Appetit!
