Ingredients ( serves 4)
Minced meat, 200 g
Tomatoes, medium, 3 nos
Tomato paste, as desired
Potatoes, a few
Onion, fried, 2 tbsp
Salt, pepper and turmeric, as per taste
Fry the chopped onions in a pan and sprinkle turmeric powder. Then add in your minced meat along with tomato paste, sautéing well till you get a charming color. Peel the tomatoes and chop into tiny cubes. Stir them into the mixture and sprinkle some pepper. Give it a few minutes to fry and then add in 4 to 5 glasses of water and let it cook well. The stew should be juicy at the end. You can chop 1 green pepper into cubes and cook in the mixture, if you like.
Slice the potatoes and fry in a separate frying pan till crispy. When the stew is ready to serve, garnish it with the fried potato slices. The stew is served either with bread or rice. Bon Appetit!
