BIOGRAPHY OF ABOU MANSOUR JAMALUDIN HELI

He was Shiite clerics of thirteenth century.

LIFE:

He was born on 25 December 1250 in HELE city. His ancestors were people of virtue and knowledge.

EDUCATION STEPS:

He was a little boy when father sent him to learn reading, writing and Quran in local school. But he was not satisfied. So he went to master MOHARAM to learn scribe line of Arabic. Then he learnt religious science, religious principle, HADITH and theology from his own father and uncle. After that, KHAJE NASIRUDIN TOUSI taught him logic of science and philosophy. Before reaching the age of maturity, he got degree of discretion. And because he got lot of knowledge in early age, so his family and scientists called him JAMALUDIN.

SHIITE AUTHORITY:

After death of MOHAGHEGH HELI who was in charge of SHIA MOSLEMS in 1278, his students and scholars were searching for a person who has the merit of leadership and authority, found ABOU MANSOUR HELI a suitable person for this important mater.
So at the very young age of 28, this noble man became leader of SHIA MOSLEMS.

ENTERING IRAN:

Exact date of his arrival to Iran is unknown. But possibly he came after 1306, when OLJAITO invited him to his parliament to debate with SUNI MOSLEM leaders.
In a meeting, when KHAJE NEZAMUDIN ABDOLMALEK was present, this noble man managed to defeat them.
After the meeting, king accepted the right of IMAM ALI as a true leader, became SHIA MOSLEM and changed his own name to SULTAN MOHAMMAD KHODA BANDE. Then promoted SHI`ISM in Iran.
From that day until the death of KING KHODA BANDE, HELI remained in Iran to spread the SHIA culture. As a companion traveled to many places.
King ordered to his men to make a mobile school out of tents, so wherever they stay, HELI could teach and discuss about religion.

BACK TO HELE AND DEATH:

HELI after the death of KING MOHAMMAD KHODA BANDE in 1316, came back to HELE city and stayed until the end of his life. And finally in 28 December 1325 at the age of 78 expired. Followers buried him in IMAM ALI shrine court yard.
