Perhaps the best answer to the question "Why do I believe in God?" is that "my parents raised me so". This way is how all theologians have found that faith in God. But my parents however taught me that theology; they have also taught me superstitions such as Santa Clause. Over time, I realized that fairy tales of childhood have no basis and truth, but faith in God and His supreme wisdom and power further enhanced.
I was son of a gardener, in my studies I found that some fruits such as apple, pear and peach are not compatible with Kenwick region, located in the eastern part of the state of Washington where tempreture sometimes reaches to 20 degrees below zero. The fruit trees blooming beautifully and wonderfully in the spring after their sleep in the fall made me so exultant and happy. However, a year as a result of hard cold all blossoms froze and no product was maintend and people of that small area underwent hardship and difficulty. Then I thought to myself if God is merciful, why does he allow this product to be eliminated as a result of the cold and people become desperate? The answer is clear! This is not God's fault but the fault of mankind. We grew crops in an in compatibile area and weather. In their real land, these trees are fully compatible with the environment and they bloom later than our region, then the risk of freeze disappears. Although all these trees grow in temperate zones, but every of them in particular is compatible with a specific region and great care and precision should be applied to select the specific species to each region.
It is clear that animals and plants were not created for a specific region, but every of them have the potential to grow and flourish in relatively different regions to their own specific regions; hence they can adjust themselves to new regions. Studying the susceptibility of adaption of animals and plants to different circumstances is called genetics, and because I was interested in the growth of peach tree since I was young and I studied it, so I struggled to get information about it as much as possible. While studying the growth of peach tree and flowers, I noticed a number of insects, especially bees and insects like that which cause insemination of flowers, I said to myself how all these compromises between plants and insects are out there?
John Henry Faber's interesting book about the strange instincts of insects as well as different samples of their social life properly suggests that there is a will and providence in the creation and operation of nature.
Meanwhile, there are also opposit forces which prevent humans to use animals and plants in a deliberate way.For example, number of ants is more than necessary, but number of bees is less than what it's required; In some years fruits are extremely rare and in other years there are so many products which we can not find a market for their sale; even some barren lands after many years will be productive again. What is the reason? Nature does not answer the question. Only God knows the secrets.
With such faith and belief I entered college and I was faced with the dialogue of physical development theory which is the only philosophy that raises some serious issues in the field of faith and belief and endeavors to replace nature instead of God's creative force.
After years of contemplation, thought and discussions with university senior students, some facts were clear to me that one of them is the inheritance science does not suggest a reason to confirm Charles Darwin's basic premises.
Darwin's theory, the author of "the origin os species" is based on two rules: first, babies of any species struggle to change in some way or another and to be away from their parents. Second, any favorable change occuring in a generation will be continued and completed in next generations.
In fact, as Tinkel and I have described in our common book of "Christianity and the new science", the last point of the potential of change in any animal and plant can quickly be guided by training and selection and guided insemination. Automatic insemination of plants and mating of two close species of animals lead to shortcomings and weaknesses in generation, but these weak generations also generally grow in a true and original way except in the case of random changes and none of them will change in any of the possible ways which Darwin has assumed. Proponents of the theory of evolution and materialists consider these random changes as the basis of evolution, but could it be true? In all studies done by them, except for a fly called Drosophila Melano Gaster, it has been well established that change in species leads to its elimination and changes which does not cause animal death will make the animal weaker. Even those which seemingly have no effect often are associated with physiological effects and make animal resistance against external effects less and weaker. Thus, thousands of these changes are not able to create a new type.
Another very rare case in which change does not cause death is a fly called Orsa that doesn't show great talent of life (104% in the 75-66 ° F), however in this change, some deficiencies in the structure of insect wings is produced that reduces the chance of his life.
If we assume that overally these changes increase the potential of insect life 1%, this is very difficult to imagine that several consecutive changes will be made to change a species. Pato in his book, the mathematical analysis of evolution hypothesis, has shown that a million generation is necessary to come in order to change a species.
Finally, if we study the strange and complex structure of chromosomes (as previously mentioned all the characteristics of an animal body are due to the genes in chromosome), for example, by comparing chromosome of Drosophila Melano Gaster by chromosome of Drosophila Pesodo Obesko as Dobashansky talks of it in his book of Inheritance and foundation of states, we see that after the normal or functional division, chromosomes return to the first case and are not similar to one another, and if we move chromosomes or change their shapes, cell will lose life susceptibility. Where this required arrangement of chromosomes has come from?
There are many other things in the realm of animals and plants that simple theory of evolution can not explain them clearly. It must be admitted that a wise Creator has created creatures so that they can live well in suitable environments and in improper environments they can somewhat adapt themselves to them. Studying nature and contemplating about it show us Infinite Power and Supreme Wisdom of the Creator. In this regard, the apostle Paul says: "We now see the truth behind the curtain, but tomorrow when the veil is removed, our knowledge about God will reach its fullest extent".
