Baba Aman resort

The spring of Baba Aman lies 10 km along the Bojnord-Mashhad road, about 300 meters from the road. The sodic and calcic sulfated spring has laxative, digestive and anti- toxin properties, and causes the bile to secrete.
The spring is inside a 40-hectare park with several pools and woodland. It also has a pilgrimage site, the shrine of Imamzade Baba Aman.
Since it lies near the main road, it is packed with visitors and pilgrims in high travel seasons. The recreational resort along the road features 8 pools and waterfalls, and woodland covering over 200 hectares.
The resort contains over 400,000 trees such as a 400-year-old plane, as well as ash, acacia, hawthorn, apricot, and willow. The mineral spring discharges 35 to 40 cubic meters per second. It originates in a hill and pours into the pools built at different levels. Near the source lies the shrine of Shahzade Ismail, surrounded by planes. Among the facilities are motels, restaurants, playgrounds and camping sites. The pleasant climate and delightful nights are also a draw.
