Kish, best option for traveling in Bahman

Kish, a popular island within waters of the Persian Gulf is extremely pleasant in winter.
Winter is right around the corner; if you’d like to go on holiday just plan beforehand. It’s not as cold as it used to be in winter. You can keep your fingers crossed to have a better weather condition when you are going to head off. You’d better think of hot destinations in the south of the country. Kish is one nice option, like always. In late Bahman it’s so good that you can even bathe and have a swim. In fact, the best time to visit the Kish island is from Day to Farvardin.
During these months , it’s the most delicate ,the loveliest and perhaps the most memorable.
Silver shores
The silver coast , the sunshine, blue and clear skies, clean and peaceful atmosphere combine to make the island the pearl in the Persian Gulf. One wonder in the coral island is its silver coast.
Greek ship
In the west of the island there is a massive ship lying on the coast which is known as Greek ship. In a hot day in the summer in 1345 the indigenous people saw a grounded ship near the village of Baghu.
After many years, it is still unclear why it was grounded but it is said that it happened as a result of the fog and lack of a lighthouse in the island.
Kariz underground city
Subterranean canal of Kish , over 2500 years old, provides water for the residents. It’s a unique canal in terms of its length and depth but since the land is not steep it needs more effort to direct underground waters on the surface. It shows that people used the most advanced ways to dig the canals in the old days.
The remains of the city of Harira , 800 years old, still exist in the port buildings. The ruins lie in an area of around 120 hectares. It was once a large and flourishing city ; its golden age dates from 367to 912 AH. It displays urban architecture in the old days .The ceilings , arches and walls are almost destroyed except some stone arches which have survived over years.
Baghu village
It is an old village housed in the southwest of the island. Now only a few farmers live in the region. The indigenous people know it as a fertile land ; there ae lush indigenous trees and beautiful trees of Lur.
A park named Daliran , at an area of 60 hectares, was built in the lovely fertile village to develop the recreational resorts and green spaces.
Payab kish
The 2000-year old region lies near the series of green trees. It has now restored beautifully and turned into a hot tourist spot which draws countless visitors. It boasts a tea house and restaurant serving Iranian traditional dishes.
Equarium
The Persian gulf is home to a diverse aquatic animals; visitors can watch various fish and weird aquatics inside the crystal clear waters.
Kish’s aquarium , located in the building of art club, features various species of wonderful aquatics from the Persian Gulf. Those who can’t do scuba diving under water and watch the colorful marine animals and fish in the sea get to experience memorable moments with a visit to the aquarium .
Ahovan’s park
Encompassing an area of 2 hectares , it lies on the Ferdosi street in Kish Island. It’s home to 17 cages to keep animals from lions, deer, jackals, fox, monkeys, gazelles, and a variety of birds.
Port resort
There is plenty to do here especially water sports like riding jet ski, pedal boats (with a capacity of four people), fishing boats, rowing boats, and water tricycles. You can also scuba dive in the waters .Also glass-bottomed boats carry tourists and show them around to see the beautiful marine life in the Persian Gulf.
