The waterfall is located northwest of a village which carries the same name, about20 km northwest of Tehran , on the slopes of Pahne Hesar peaks.
2,575 meters above sea level , it is situated south of the peak of Pahne Hesar.
The beautiful and mountainous village of Sangan lies along the Kan road, northwest of Tehran, a little above Sulghan. It also boasts a shrine.
Generally speaking, it has beauties to offer all year round.
Also there is a valley nearby which contains abundant water. As the name suggests the waterfall lies in a rocky area. ( Sang means stone or rock).
To reach there you should follow the road of Kan on the northwest of Tehran.
