Regardless of classification and group orientation that exist between Jews and Zionists, all of them jointly consider “Moshe” (Moses (peace be upon him)) the founder of Zionism. However the ideal that he always followed, was the dignity and honor of the nation of Israel living in the shadow of God in the Holy Land and the implementation of divine commands.
In the “Torah” culture, the return to Zion means the philosophy of waiting and the advent of promised Messiah, the prophet Isaiah enunciate good news:
“When development of Zion, all the nations will praise God and the advent of Messiah is the end of injustice era and oppression will disappear altogether. Wolf with lamb will graze and eagles and doves will fly together.”
In the Jewish faith, Mount of Zion is the manifestation of divine justice and itspilgrimage for the sanctification of God, is a religious duty.
Throughout the history, faith and culture of the Jewish return to Zion is considered a divine duty by Jewish believers, pilgrimage and stay in the Holy Land (Zion) was one of the Jewish religious aspirations and goals in the imitation of the Prophet Moses (peace be upon him). Today, pluralistic interpretation is provided for these religious concepts. For example, it is interpreted as follows:
In fact, Moshe Rbeno, was the first Zionist through the history. His entity was full of love and admittance to the land of Israel. To achieve this great freedom, the entrance to the Holy Land, he prayed "Tefila" as 515 times to the court of "Hashem", in which would not accepted. And it is clear that “Quanah Moshe Rabeno” insisted on in order to hold Jewish religious ceremony and build of “BethaMiqdash” in that land. For every religious Jew, return and settle in “Israel earth” is a dream and religious obligation, so a “religious Jewish Shumertora” is a real Zionist.
According to this belief, the Jews yearned the advent of “Messiah” (Christ) and return to Zion prayers, while standing in the direction of Jerusalem, in their triple prayers namely "Shehrit", "Yanha" every day.

The Jews say in the Morning Prayer:

“OLord, give us the peace from four corners of the world and guide us to our land proudly.”

The people who say prayers, incessantly say:

“Holy God who is the founder of Jerusalem and holy God who returns to Zion”
The prayer after meals, including a good prayer says the construction of this holy city i.e. "Jerusalem," in our time.

The Psalm, recited in circumcision ceremony, includes:

“O Jerusalem, if I forget you, I will break my right hand, in “Passah” ceremony, every Jew announces that: Next year, the name of Israel land wills comfort to the survivors at anniversary ceremony in Jerusalem. O holy God, O the Comforter of Zion and founder of Jerusalem”
Some commentators have mixed Moses (peace be upon him) religion with the Zionist ethnic dogmatism to promote Zionism as their world unity point among religious texts and Jewish prayers.

This approach is included in prayers of Saturday morning (the Jewish holiday) as follows:

"God has chosen Zion (Jerusalem) to exhibit his glory. Because "Jacob" chose for himself the eternal God, then God chose Israel for himself."
"God has recovered "Jerusalem" and collect miscellaneous Jews of Israel altogether; he cures the broken hearted people and heals their wounds. . . O Jerusalem! Praise God, O Zion! Commend your LORD, because the wheat behind of your gates, satiate yourself."
The rule of the Church in the middle Ages, has almost prevented the development of Jewish philosophy and theology in Europe, but at the same time, due to the introduction of Arab-Islamic culture and literature to scholars and clerics, four Mu'tazilism, Neo-Platonism, Aristotelianism and Anti-Aristotelianism emerged.
Sa'dia Gown (882-942M), the rector of "Sora University" in Baghdad, due to influence of philosophy and Kalam of Mu'tazilism, worked hard to conceptualize theology. By writing of books like "safe and beliefs" and "Travel of Yasira" to interpret of Torah, explained the conceptualization of issues such as power, miracle, sin, resurrection and return of Christ, the son of David (peace be upon him), to save the Israelites. He believed that, with the advent of the Messiah, the Jewish people will be saved and then the holy Temple of Solomon in "Jerusalem" will be regained. His thoughts and his beliefs followed in the writings of Jewish philosophers such as David Ben Marwan, in his book, "twenty articles", Isaac Israeli books like "Al-Hodud" and "Al-Jawahiri", Ibn Gabriel books like "tikon Medit Hanefsh" and "Ketermelkhut" and " Mekur Haem " and even the philosopher of the late eleventh century, "Bahya ibn Paquda", owner of the famous book called " Al-hedaya Al-fava'id Al-Gholub". In addition to the scientific, philosophical and ethical issues, they also presented theories about the importance of Zion and return to the Holy Land. However these philosophers, commentators and interpreters of Judaism, in the land of "Andalucía" or "Spain" which was ruled by Muslims, represented the similar issues; so that "Judah Halevi" (1141-1075) usually is regarded as greatest Hebrew poet and commentator of Spain.
Halvi, was a Zionist who died on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. He wrote "Al-Kezari" [Al-Khazari], a year before his late, which is a philosophical treatise about this idea in which the Jewish people is the only mediator between God and His creation and other nations will all join Jewish religion at the End Time. But the above-mentioned treatise, is known with the original title of "Ketab Al-Hojjah va Al-Dalil fi Al-Din Al-Zalil" (The reason and argument in defense of humiliated religion).
Until "Judah Halevi", Aristotelianism was important in Islamic philosophy, but was not in Jewish philosophy. According to "Judah Halevi", the historical experience is the source of faith rather than physical and non-physical meditations and religious experience is more important than beliefs and dogmas. The subject of "Judah Halevi" book is about the joining of "Khazar" king to Judaism in the first half of the eighth century. "Judah Halevi" views are explained in the form of a dialogue between the king and Havre, a Jewish scientist, who acts as speaker and author. "Judah Halevi" said that the King dreamed an angel appears to him and tells him: your intentions are acceptable to God, but your acts and deeds are not.
At first the king construed that; he must act in following and respecting to "Khazar religion" more enthusiastically. But when the angel appeared in his dream for the second time, with the same message, he understood that he must adopt a new way of life. An Aristotelian philosopher, a Christian and a Muslim invited him to their religions, but he figured out their plans are unsatisfactory, he felt that he must inevitably join Judaism and be a member of humiliated religion.
The King convinced by his dialogue with "Havre" to join Judaism. Many of five articles of the book "Judah Halevi" are devoted to Havre explaining about Judaism. In fact, all efforts of "Judah Halevi" are based on the excellence and superiority of Judaism over other religions. Another religious theorist is Rabbi, Moshe ibn Nahman (1270-1194). He read and cited to "Torah", awarded a sacred nature to the land of "Palestine". He called Palestine as center of the universe and considered "Jerusalem" as the capital of Israel. "Ben Nahman" considered that Palestine is the only appropriate place to comply recommendations of the Old Testament religion and he said that live in the land of Israel as a religious duty to the necessity of all of the religious duties.
Religious Zionism has always kept promote to settle in "Jerusalem" and religious duties doing and work in the Holy Land among all the Jews of the world.
In the last years of the 19th century, Jewish fundamentalists and Zionist political alliance created the prosperity and power of the religious Zionist movement in which its main characteristic is Jewish supremacy with ancient Zionist aspect and especially establishment of the independent land of Israel. The inevitable ideal of Torah reign of David-Bit was developed often with elements of Maccabi reign, the period of restoration "second temple". A combination of the two peaks of Jewish history achieved the image of national pride, political governance, administrative efficiency, victory and military power, material wealth and more extended boundaries with creativity in the religious and full active religious. The culmination and the symbol of all fundamentalists' dreams, worship God in "holy temple" and set up a temple in its original position, without any small changes.
Religious Zionists gave Jerusalem (Zion) a halo of sanctity with the interpretation that the soil and the land of "Palestine" is sacred and it is a part of "Jehovah"; joined to political Zionists in the Congress of 1897 in "Basel, Switzerland". They considered the current political Zionism as promised Messiah and accompanied it.
The prominent rabbis such as "Moshe ibn Nahman", "Abraham Isaac Kook", "Judah kali", "Hirsch Calisher", "Samuel Muhilor" and "Yahyil Mikhail Pins" were of this spectrum.
But the Zionist movement agreed with the World Zionist Organization in the Fifth Congress which was held in the "City of Basel, Switzerland", from 26 to 30 December 1901, with the participation of 358 members. But it withdrew the main activities of the World Zionist Organization because of opposition to the ideas of socialist and secular parties in Congress, under the leadership of Rabbi "Isaac Rayns" (1915-1839) and established its own organization, as the name of "Mizrahi Movement in the facility. After this period, the rabbis and the leaders of this religious movement defend and support the Zionism extremely.
Israeli state was established, under the leadership and efforts of Rabbi "Isaac Jacob Rayns" (1839-1915) in "Vilna, Lithuania" with the participation of 72 religious-minded Zionists of "Mizrahi movement," with the slogan of "the land of Israel for the people of Israel according to the Torah.
The first general congress of the movement was held to determine how to return to the ancestral land in "Berisburg, Hungary" in 1904. Mizrahi, religious center, has branches around the world.
This movement began its activity by establishing a network of religious schools and institutions in "Palestine", in 1918. These activities, in fact, represented the religious Zionism.
The other activities of the movement was to promote Jews settlement in Palestine.
According to the Mizrahi movement, the establishment of the Israeli state was the beginning of the advent of Christ. But this movement practically served to run the Zionism program.
In addition to Mizrahi movement, other religious movement called "Mefdal" with the Hebrew word, "Meflegha Datit Leomit", means the national religious party, supported Zionism over the past century. The slogan of the complete land of Israel is on the agenda of the party's political program. Israel's Supreme Council of Rabbis and religious education institutions of government are under the rule of "Mefdal party" and it administrated "yeshiif" (training schools and colleges of Talmud) and has great influence in the "religious Bar-Ilan University" that was constructed in the fifties. Defender movement of policy of "Hekibbuts Hedati" establishment (religious kibbutz), is including some kibbutz and dozens "Mushaf". The youth movement of "Bani Akifa" (formed in 1929) and a women's movement formed in the 1960s are also affiliated to the "Mefdal". "Hestufiah" newspaper is an organ of "Mefdal" party.
Today, in the occupied territories of "Palestine", many religious parties exhibit the peak of extremist religious Zionism. Some of them, every year on the grave of the founder of political Zionism, "Theodor Herzl" swear that everyone who submit the promised land of Judea and Samaria (the West Bank of the Jordan River today) to the Arabs, would be executed. The murder of Prime Minister Rabin is in the logic of mythology of pure Zionist and according to "Yigal Amir", the order of the murder is oriented from the Lord, such as the time of Joshua.
