After the formation of the World Zionist Organization in first Congress and World Zionist cohesion and unity by advocating the return to Zion and accompanied by colonial powers, During the study of practical solutions and implementation of this legendary theory; differences and various diversities appeared between religious and political Jewish community in how to deal with the issue of immigration and stay in "Palestine".
Diversity of perceptions and political behavior within parties, movements, organizations, Zionist and non-Zionist religious movements before and after the first Congress, before and after the fall of the Ottoman Empire, before and after the establishment of the Jewish state came into existence, causing to brief classify of these theories for a better understanding:
1. The Political Zionism:
Theodor Herzl, is considered as the founder of modern political Zionism theory. But considering the idea of returning to Zion and rebuild Solomon Heikal (temple) and waiting for the advent of promised Messiah in the shade of a Jewish state in Ottoman Palestine during the 18th century by Jewish theorists and scholars, such as Moses Mendelssohn, Judah Alkalai, Zvi Hirsch Kalischer, Moses Hess, Leon Pinsker, Nathan Byrne Baum, Lilian Bloom etc. followed finally Large Jewish community in 1897 which its result was to define single goal, namely to achieve a Jewish state in "Palestine". Although there are various thoughts led to adopt different methods to achieve this goal. However, non-unit strategy, did not prevent from achieving the goal. At this stage, political Zionists were divided into several branches during the Congress of World Zionist Organization. The split in political perceptions started as Ahad Ha'am and his intellectual companions promoted their own special Zionist ideas based on solidarity, morality and Jewish identity in Lovers of Zion movement formation. At this time Ahad Ha'am, whose real name was Asher Ginsberg, was in the spotlight of Zionism; because in terms of etiology, Ahad Ha'am was successor and deputy of Perez Smolenskin and wrote his first Zionist literature in 1889, about four years after the death of his teacher. He believed that:
"Jews must actively call for their survival as a nation, because in terms of nationalistic aspects, there is no cooperation and human connection higher than the nation. Details such as language and the land linked to them and their cultural heritage which is in charge of basic values, has provided the foundation."
Ahad Ha'am's plan was very similar to Italian nationalism Joseph Mazzini in which with a purpose or quasi-religious moral mission for his nation, created an ultra-nationalist or chauvinist potential.
Basis of the dispute between supporters of Herzl, Ahad Ha'am started from first World Zionist Congress. General Zionists who considered themselves realists believed that solve of basic problem of the Jews in the diaspora (global displacement) is out of the capability of political movement of Zionism and considered in religious and messianic beliefs domain.
Ahad Ha'am looked at Herzl's ceremony group as new Zionists that their Zionist belief is a kind of anti-Semitism and have considered Palestine for its economic and political aspects and compared them with old "lovers of Zion" who have considered Palestine easy. On his view, it was completely Abnormal that Zionism could solve the inevitable issue of Zionist homelessness, but World Zionist congress must consider the issue of ethics. "Morality, as a sense of identity and self-confidence". General Zionists led by Ahad Ha'am, were criticized Russian Zionists who had been deceived by Herzl's project.
Public Zionism Members who believed that "Ball conference" aims are out of personal interests for ideology and sympathized with middle-class people, later form many movements and liberal parties.
Due to booming of labor parties and groups that were in competition with the public Zionists. The public Zionists gradually disappeared in Israel; some of them led by "Chaim Weizmann", later joined the rightists.
2. The secular Zionism
In examining of the ideological origins of the Zionist political parties and movements before and after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire or the establishment of the Zionist state in Israel, we face with different attitudes. Some attitudes believe that Zionism is as an ideological process which must be in the shadow of great political philosophies such as socialism, liberalism, secularism and etc. they don't assign a position for religious issues in the implementation of the principles and the basics of general policy of the government, so they play an important role in attracting the attention of all Jews who had different opinions as secular Zionists.
For example, the International Socialist Organization began its work with the establishment and the foundation of first International in 1846, while both its leaders were Jewish "Karl Marx" and "Lassalle".
Disraeli, prime minister of "England" predict that a labor movement will occur in "Germany" under the direction and leadership of its Jews in his book entitled "Comings be".
There is no doubt that seeds of infernal Jewish plans exist at teachings of "Marx" well; aiming to destruction elite intellectuals class, aristocracy, middle class, clergymen and employees of all and Gentile nations through false doctrine of equity, also the hatred and jealousy among the proletarian class. The theorists of Zionism expand Zionist socialism by exploitation of the political approach in order to entice and excite the masses of non-Jewish people to present in a particular territory.
"Abdul Wahhab al-masiri", great Arab writer, has introduced Moses Hess (1812-1875) as the founder of socialist Zionism. But scholars such as "Abdul Fatah Mohammed Mazi" and "Elias Shufani" believe that this Zionist trend is due to thoughts of "Pierre Boroshov" (1881-1917M.) who discussed in his book, "The problem of ethnicity and class warfare" in details.
It is interesting to note, in the same period in the Russia, several Jewish labors organizations emerged who search the solutions in Zionism and these organizations gathered in "Minsk", Russia, in the year 1900; and established Zion labors movement. Within a few years later, other groups such as "Galicia", "Austria", "Germany" and "Britain" and even "the United States", were formed. They disagreed with the land where will be the Jewish national home and either that land be "Palestine" or elsewhere, but "Pierre Boroshov" selected Palestinian and thus put an end to this dispute and several groups and organizations agreed with him.
In addition, after Aaron David Gordon (1856-1922), designer of "religion-work" theory accompanied and supported Boroshov, this attitude was strengthened especially after the great conspiracy of the Jews against the Russian Tsar Alexander II in which resulted revolution and its failure in 1905. Socialist Zionism flourished, so that in the aftermath of the suppression of the Russian Revolution, a new wave of Russian immigrants came to Palestine, so the changes were made in the situation. Refugees of failed revolution, rather than continue to fight alongside the Russian revolutionists in their own country, imported a strange Zionist socialism into "Palestine". They built agricultural kibbutz and industrial cooperatives by the expulsion of Palestinian farmers in order to make an economy based on labor class and Jewish peasant. The secular Zionist with demagogic slogans, could attract a large number of Jews to itself. At first they based their program on the principle that:
Jewish economy cannot flourish without agriculture and industry; and without autonomous economy, neither society cannot exist nor a country. Proponents of this idea, as well as, supported respect for the rights of Arabs for many years and thought that the Jewish labor class and Arab labor class have common class interests against the Jewish bourgeoisie and Arab feudalism, but most of them eventually came to the conclusion that really the struggle is between the nations not among classes.
David Ben-Gurion, as the figure one, at beginning of establishment of the Jewish state in the late 50's and 60's, tried hard to introduce realistic socialism. He emphasized on the establishment of a Zionist state independently, without the involvement of the World Zionist Organization in the Arab states and came to the conclusion in 1948 and could declare the establishment of the State of Israel himself. He believed that:
With the formation of a government, the majority of Jews in Israel, along with other Jewish communities enjoy equal rights, and will be true owners of this country.
Israel state is the biggest Jewish history event over three thousand years. . . Advantage and ascendancy of government from Zionist Organization does not only arise by abilities, its international standing and profound influence on all of the Jewish people, but also the ascendancy is qualitative supremacy and has been existed before the creation of the state.
respectively as the secular socialist, liberal Zionist ideology in the mid-19th century and early 20th century expanded, so that, Hungarian Max Simon Nordau (1849-1923) repaired the structure of its political literature. So that during the Zionist Congress, the general Zionist group political followed the political line of this trend and led by Chaim Weizmann, head of the World Zionist Organization. This group has liberal ideas, aimed to establish a Jewish state in the land of "Palestine" was based on pure capitalism. Liberal Zionist parties and groups was undergone by wide developments, branches and diverse coalitions since 1946. Most important of them were "Likud" group formed in 1973 and "Hi Zion" party headed by Ariel Sharon.
However, the intentions and ideas of "Moses Mendelssohn" (1729-1786) and "Nordau" was continued by Jewish Enlightenment movement called "Haskala" mainly with preservation and culture changing
The movement's slogan was: "Be a Jew at your home and be a man outside". Jewish Enlightenment movement activity was focused around inviting the Jews to destroy the castle of the "Gitu" and melting in their local communities. The invite was welcomed by some Jewish cultural elites who were harassed by isolationist life. Already, many Zionist Jews were integrated in Christian communities with ultra-liberal ideas. For example, "Daniel Farehi", rabbi of the Movement of Jewish Liberals of France (MJLF), explained in an interview with the famous magazine "Le Figaro" on 11 September 1999:
"We must make concessions so that we'll not forced to live in the Jewish community or Israel. For example, in a large city with high buildings, it is necessary to go to the synagogue with cars and elevators. We do not want to show yourselves as hard fanatic Jews. We keep our constitutional traditions, symbols, while intern the realism and contemporary meaning into our own religious practices. We do not seek to mitigate the religious requirements or constraints, but we want to turn them into understandable and proper for the sense and the knowledge of modern Jews. A society should not be subject to the inapplicable requirements. Law is enacted for humans, not for the world"
By the secular socialist movement, it should be noted also the secular Zionism respectively. Over the centuries, many Jews have always benefited from pretended religious conversion methods to protect and safeguard their material interests and social statuses, and hidden in Christian community's layers. Those who had less religious backgrounds, have found the desire for materialistic attitudes. Among these groups, it could be pointed out to groups like as Marano, dönmeh, and Baha'i… which provided proper cultural context in Jewish communities to aversion the religion and secularism.
Baruch Spinoza (1632-1677), famous Jewish- Dutch philosopher, is known the first Jewish person who rejected "Judah faith" and break up his Jewish brothers, without to join another religion. When Spinoza was young, a Spanish Jewish, named "Juan Doprado", impressed on him and cause to deny the authenticity of the "Torah" and expressed opinions in religious matters that the rabbi of "Amsterdam" could not tolerate.
Spinoza's works contain criticism of the political structure of Jewish society. In his first epistle, he expresses the "free thinking and free expression of ideas of human rights", which is an opposition to the bed space of Jewish communities of that era. Spinoza believes that Jewish community leaders are trying to maintain the laws of "Torah", in order to maintain their dominance of the Jewish community in fact.
Now the political behavior of the Zionist leaders who displayed a kind of secularism of the state, cause to the Jewish people criticize. In other words, by their political perception, everyone does not fulfill his or her religious duties, has only betrayed the Lord (Jehovah), but he or she was not offensive to the nation and homeland, thus limiting of their political views, is nationality and territory, not ethics and religion; this matter is even contested by Jewish critics of Zionism.
Today, justice and the ethics are two matters that the Zionists are not committed to it. Today the Israeli nation is on the basis of corruption, oppression and injustice. So that is very close to the end of Zionism. It is very likely that the present generation is the last Zionist generation.
However, as political Zionism of Israel obstructed any religious and moral realism, some hot and passionate Israeli youth who are thirsty of forgotten ideals, saving their country and themselves in the search of religion. . . Israelis have also turned to establish a society based on secular Zionist ideas to deal with this threat.
However this struggle between secular and religious Jews is not a reason on the plurality of the religion-oriented, because the ruling seculars in Zionist government are strengthening the secular community.
If we want to look in other forms of secular Zionism, face to a kind of extremism in which is different from religious teachings of "Torah" that has an instrumental use of religion only.
Political behaviors of the slogans of the chosen people, holy and promised land and also the promise of God (Jews saved by Messiah at the end) that form the basis of Zionist thinking, in fact, is based on false interpretations of verses in the Torah (Old Testament distortion ).
Interpretations of ethical-religious and spiritual aspects sacrifice to the apparent and distorted concepts, have been the best voucher for justification of fascist behaviors and ideas and the racism of political Zionists. For example, the following verses are the patterns for racist Zionist interpretation of Judaism:
"This land will be for your descendants, from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates."
Genesis, chapter 15, verse 18
"Among all the nations, you will be my special people, however all around the world is mine. But you will be holy nation for myself and serve me as priests."Exodus, chapter 19, verses 5 and 6
"You just belong to "Jehovah", your Lord, he has chosen you from among the people on the earth."Deuteronomy, chapter 140, verse 2
"Because you are a holy people for "Jehovah", the Lord; your God has chosen you from all the people on the earth to be for him."Deuteronomy, chapter 7, verse 6
"Neither don't take your daughters to their sons, nor take their daughters to their sons and yourselves."Travel Nehemiah, chapter 130, verse 25
"Your generation will occupy other nations."Travel Isaiah, chapter 54, verse 3
Some specific areas of ancient religious teachings in Judaism, rooted in the minds of fanatical rabbis who are ambitious and authoritarian, was the origin of ideas of racist Zionism, including that some of the issues and topics of "Talmud" which are the research and interpret theology of Judaism about "the Bible", was set in the 300 years before the birth of Christ, and they are an important reference to perceptions of racial and nationalist Zionist parties."Non-Jewish property and possession will be known as derelict. First of all, every Jew who seize it, he will be the owner."
Human Mishpat Hagag 156-5
"Operation of Jews from mistakes of non-Jews is permitted in the favor of winning."Hashem Mishpat Hagag 248-2
"Adultery is forbidden for men by Jewish law. This command is only about Jewish women. Honor of non-Jews for Jews is legitimate."Sultan Arouh 111
The world is not without trade. Not without Jews, even without Jews cannot continue. Explaining of our principles and rules to foreigners and non-Jews, is equal to the Holocaust.Jude – Hashem Mishpat"
The above can be greatly found in the book of "Kabala", the source of Jewish mysticism. Even these ideas have been published among the racist views of the nationalist Zionist. The policies mentioned in this movement as an inalienable and immutable rule.. Abdul Wahhab al-masiri" said in this regard:"
"The racism of Zionism is not an honor issue or the issue of moral libertinism or arrogant issue of individual or group, but rather an essential feature; because of the realization of the Zionist dream, the original inhabitants have to disappear, if they won't die, this dream does not come to the realization. Hence the all Zionists, regardless of religious affiliation or political and moral values which they believe, were involved in founding of racism and developed it further.
"Besiou", a Jewish writer, believes that Judah is capital of the world and Israel is responsible for leading of mankind by God in his book of "The issues in the history of the world". "Vladimir Jabotinsky", in 1904, wrote in an article:
"the source of national sentiments of anybody must be sought in the blood and physical characteristics of his or her race.... Therefore, we Jews are forced to have their own land in order to remain immune from mixing with other races inevitably.
It is interesting to know that, at the same time, in the occupied territories of "Palestinian", if suddenly found that grandmother of an Israeli man or woman was not Jewish, the government office will be gotten informed and authorities try to force him or her to take the identity card and eliminate his or her name from the list of Jewish people and register to the list of non-Jews.
Israel Shahak says:
"If one of the parties going to marry is bastard, and the bastardy is relevant to his or her grandmother or mother of grandmother, this person is bastard and will not permitted to get married.Spreading of racist policies of the Israeli government of political issues to issues of citizenship, is turned into a kind of apartheid between Jews and Arabs in Zionist cities. Arab cars are differentiated with the first three digits of their numbers to be different from others and Arab taxis have a certain color to be recognized from Israeli ones.
Even Arabs and non-Arabs phone numbers are different, i.e., all of them begin with the digit 8. Arab identity cards also include this sentence:
"This card gives the holder "no right" to enter Israel".
It means that every Arab leaves Israel by any reason, his or her return to the land is not guaranteed.
Some religious movements such as "Chabad" promote their codified racist doctrines. The most important book of "Chabad group" is "Athaniya" that is completely considered Semitism.
Based on materials of this book, non-Jews are evil creatures that a good thing does not absolutely exist in them. Even such a Gentile is an extra creature, because all creatures are just created for the sake of the Jews.
The opinions expressed are still taught in numerous lectures of "Menachem Mendel Scheneerson", the current chief of inherited administration of Chabad movement and Rabbi "Luba Visscher" who guide this organization from his palace in "New York ". By a time, his anti-black attitudes was recognized and was heavily criticized
In general, anti-racist beliefs among the Jews were the most important reasons for the correlation and consistency of their actions against non-Jewish communities in their countries.
Continuation of the racist policies of the Israeli government, caused to issue of the resolution 3379 of the UN General Assembly, in 1975, whereby Zionism is introduced as a form of racism and it includes:
With the strongest terms, it condemned Zionism as a threat to international peace and security, and invited all countries to deal with racist and imperialist ideology. It also emphasizes that Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination.
