An Evil Promise and an Extraordinary Chance (2)

Having issued Balfour declaration, French government affirmed it and Italy supported it in 1918. Russia which after its communist revolution considered religion an opium for countries agreed to the contents of the declaration in condition that benefits of Russian church in the holy land be observed!
But Wilson, that time president of the United States, while expressing great pleasure for issuing Balfour declaration, went a step further and spoke of the establishment of a Jewish government.
He answered American public opinion in this way: government and people of the United States announce their support of the establishment of Jewish government.
Immediately after Balfour declaration, Foreign Ministry of England founded a special branch headed by a veteran Zionist named Albert Humson for their propagandas. As its first step, the branch set out to provide different journals and declaration for all Jewish organizations all over the world. Attached to each of the journals was Balfour declaration.
A month later in 2 November 1917, a famous Zionist- Israel Zanguil- in a speech described efforts of Britain and the United States for granting Palestine in this way:
Seven Crusades in the Holy Land, led to the slaughter of the Jews. Does the Eighth Crusade mean that Palestine will be returned to the Jews?
Six weeks after the Balfour Declaration, Britain occupied Beit Al-Moqadas in the ninth December 1917, and subsequently on the eleventh of December, General Allenby, the military command of English, entered Beit Al-Moqadas and among people, said: "Today Crusade wars were finished!"
At the same time, the commercial branch of the Foreign Office developed its activities, especially among the Jews of Germany and Austria and distributed leaflets in "Yiddish" (the local language of the Jews of Eastern Europe), to the officers and soldiers of the Jewish Central Europe and encouraged them to refrain from fighting against the Allies and move to Palestine, to live in the holy land.
In one of the statements archived under the number 202/395 in the National Archives of England, it is stated that:
... Jerusalem fell! Came the moment of liberation of the Jewish people! Palestine must become once again a Jewish national home ... Allied forces intend to leave Israel to the Israelites. Today the heart of every idealist Jew beats for the great victory. Can you join the other Jews and establish the Jewish homeland in Palestine? ... Stop fighting against the Allied forces! Allies are fighting for your sake! To all Jews! For the liberation of all oppressed nations! And do not forget the Allied victory, means the victory of the Jewish people to return to Zion.
At that time, due to the new political situation following the publication of Wilson's Fourteen Points peace plan had been established, Great Britain could not formally take Palestine under its military occupation, and the Jews of Palestine had no power to declare independence. Therefore, the common interests of Great Britain and Zionism was in a way to make preparations for and preparing the ground for the establishment of the Jewish state, the Palestinian Authority is under the supervision and tutelage British rule.
Between years 1917- 1920, the British government's policy was to maintain its military position in the region, and create understanding between Arabs and Jews, but in fact, its policy was preparations for the implementation of the "Balfour promise" and expanding the presence and influence of Jews in Palestine. An Israeli commission headed by Weizmann and accompanied by Captain Ormez Bigor and James de Rothschild and Israel Schiff, were sent to the region by the British government for the situation in Palestine. Reports sent by the commission, all suggested the emergence of concerns and grievances of Arabs and mistrust and suspicion toward government policies, and the growing fear and terror of the Jews of anger and rage of Muslims.
Wiseman wrote to Balfour, to implement the principles of democracy in Palestine, because to his belief democracy does not consider supremacy of Jews over Arabs which is the main substantive differences between Arabs and Jews!
In the wake of the Balfour Declaration and Zionist movements, new political and broader efforts to seize more Palestinian land and increase of Jewish immigration to the land, some of the Jews who were committed to the principles of good faith and conscience and free thought stood up and resisted against this movement and raised the banner of opposition.
On 24/5/1917, Times published the objections of some Jews in the Balfour Declaration issued. They had told:
We want a space full of Jewish culture to emerge in Palestine, not to live in a Jewish land. What is said in the Balfour Declaration makes the Jewish population in the countries where they live and all the effort that has been subjected to in their own countries will be vanished and they will not be considered citizens of those countries.
Montague, Minister of colonial India, who was the only Jewish minister in the government of Great Britain, following the issuance of the Balfour promise sent protest notes and offer highly critical of his government, and also said: Zionism has always been for me a political opinion that a loyal English citizen will never accept it because an English Jew who looks up to the Mount of Olives and expects the day that he is dusting away British territory dust from his clothes and shoes and starts agricultural activity there, in fact, does not deserve to live in Great Britain.

He adds in his letter: I would like to emphasize four points:

1. There is no such thing as a Jewish nation. Like my family who over several generations have lived in this country, nothing in common with another Jewish family who lives in another country, and among them are nothing more than religious issues at different levels to the other. Hence, it is far from the truth to say that English Jews and Moroccan Jews are form the same state and race.
2. Once Jews are told that Palestine is their national state, immediately any government tries to get away from its own Jewish citizens, and in that way, we will see a large population of Jews in Palestine that displace indigenous owners the best ones to seize the land.
3. I have a very strong incentive to boycott the Zionist Organization that was illegal and detrimental to British interests.
4. I cannot accept that Palestine today is linked with the Jews, or if the land could be a suitable region for them to live. Palestine has of course a big role in Jewish life, but has the same role for the contemporary history of Islam. Palestine after the Jewish covenant, Christian history has a major role to all states. Perhaps now the Jewish temple is remained in Palestine, but the preaching of Jibal and crucifying of Jesus Christ have also occurred there.
If my memory helps me, the number of Jews in the world is three times the number that Palestine could accommodate. Hence, the establishment of the Jewish national home in Palestine means that all the Jews scattered throughout the world, in the country they live will be deemed to be foreign Jews.

Albert Einstein, the famous physicist, in the year 1938, as a Jew, said:

I believe that instead of establishing a Jewish state, it is reasonable to establish a common peaceful life, with the Arabs to reach unity of opinion. In my opinion, the original nature of Jewish religion is in contradiction with the creation of a Jewish state, which has a border with the Jewish religion and the military and political governance.
Jewish Community "Neturei Karta", addresses Zionists with expressions like secular Zionists and irreligious, racist, enemies of the people of Semitic and Nazi collaborators and said:
The Jewish nation is essentially a religious community of three thousand years ago and are takes its existence by the covenant it has made with his Creator, and is in service to Him and mankind! These people are not a political nation and an independent race, but the chosen people of God, they are the most humble people...Jewish security is because of their peaceful spirit of the people who live in them. As Jeremiah said: we should haste towards the best city, the city in which we live.
It has always called for the fall of Israel and the establishment of a Palestinian state and the internationalization of Jerusalem and recognizes the Palestine Liberation Organization.
Now also, the oppositions to Zionist regime is continued by many great and celebrated personalities and organizations, and Jewish organizations, both inside and outside the occupied territories, which is the Zionist Jewish communities and individuals, further reaction appalling massacres and crimes and many that Israel daily commits to Palestinian land owners.
Now, one of the most anti-Zionist Jewish organizations in the United States is the American Association of Jewish. Despite the small number of its affiliated American Jews, the association had been highly active in the advertising and communicating with members of Congress.
The view of this organization from the Jewish religion is a pure religion abstracted from political background; they believe that an American Jew can at the same time be both American patriots and Zionists ... this organization believes that ethnicity and religion are two separate issues and no Jew or group of Jews in America must speak on the side of American Jews. Israel is the only homeland of its people, not the homeland of all Jews in the world ... For this reason, the organization separates race and religion and rejected Israel's claim that "the whole Jewish are a unite nation and the people of this nation, where they have a political affiliation and race are united and have tasks that are practiced for the best of Israel".
At the heart of the occupied territories, there are nations of Israel today that are dissatisfied with the government of Israel. The reason is that the government is waiting for the Christ (Messiah) is unrealized and therefore illegitimate. We should expect a Christ to take the country into the arms of God. The tribes believe that they should live peacefully with the Arabs of Palestine who are the legal owners.
At present, Professor Israel Shahak, and Rabbi Elmer Berger, and Mrs. Fylsya Langer Israeli judge and a representative of the Israeli parliament, and Ms. Shelmit Aluni and Avery Afuni and Professor Libofetz and Professor LeninTal are among the fair and believer Jews who in the words and works put on trial Zionism and condemned the aggressive behavior made by the Zionistic regime.
Professor Israel Shahak, said: In my opinion Israel is one of the most brutal occupying regime ... and is among the most devious regimes that human history has ever seen.
Rabi Elmer Berger visited Middle East in 1995 and in a letter described poverty and desolation of people of Quds resulting from what Zionist had done. He stated: I am truly ashamed of being a Jew. Israel does not hesitate to torture even Jewish people.
However, it is not enough to analyze the events related to Palestine during the First World War, without mentioning the famous Sykes-Picot treaty. Wave secret treaty in May 1916, the Georges-Picot and Sir Mike Sykes, France and Great Britain representatives of the two governments was signed in St. Petersburg, the Arabic Middle East, parts of the territory of the Ottoman Empire between Britain and France was divided and separated. The division, part of Syria, Lebanon and occupied Anatolia in France and parts of Iraq and Palestine, including the ports of Haifa and Acre were also in the area of British domination.
Since following the signing of this secret treaty, some Ottoman territory was ceded to Russia and others in Italy, Lutsky writes:
One of the proverbs of British diplomacy is that toy can give any promises, because the situation varies, anyway. Generous past of England in the Arabic states of the Ottoman Empire is of the things for which this rule matches.
In May 1917, Sykes and Picot entered Hejaz and talked very confidentially with Hussein and Faisal, sons of Mecca about the future of Palestine, Syria and Iraq. In this interview, Sykes and Picot fictitious and false claims that the commitments and agreements in their respective countries, to the Arabs raised and Hussein, according to the baseless promises, was determined to continue the war against the Ottoman forces for the best of allied forces.
As a result of these policies of guile and deception, in the attack of General Allenby, commander of the English forces in Palestine in July of the same year, Arab army formed the right-wing of Great Britain forces.
However, the Sykes-Picot Agreement was a living symbol of deceit and deception of Great Britain's colonial policies against the Arabs because the treaty was made against the interests of Arab nations at the time when Arabs were allies of the United Kingdom and was inconsistent with the many promises Makmahun in his letters from government of Great Britain which was given to Sharif Hussein.
A few months later, after Sykes-Picot agreement, communist revolution in Russia flared up and with the rise of the Bolsheviks, led by Lenin, Tsars were scandalized and the documents of their scandals were published. Documents related to the Sykes-Picot treaty which had been signed by Russian Emperor was also released in November 1917.
With the release of this document, it was natural that Arabs could not be indifferent to treason of colonial countries of Europe in opposition to formation of a united and powerful Arab state, and a conspiracy against the European powers who were colonizing their land; but alas, the contact and dialogue and deceptions of British government resulted in a way that there would not be an appropriate response to the Arab leaders, especially Muslims against hidden malice and deceit of Great Britain and its colonialist plans.
Sykes-Picot Treaty led the Zionists in England be better positioned to dominate Palestine. As Arab Lawrence said: Zionism is "a good way to expel France from the Middle East."
In January 1918, the British government sent a representative to negotiate with Hussein, King of the Hejaz, to make him aware of the content of the Balfour promise in the context of the Jewish immigration to Palestine. The representative deceived king and delivered only the second part of the section which was about immigration, and because the king was a "generous" man, accepted the request and insisted that he greets Jews and that they can enter Arabic land from anywhere they like.
Haim Wiseman having a letter of introduction from political advisor of Britain commander went to Feisal’s base in the first of June 1918-Feisal was the commander of Arabic army near Aqaba- and talked with him for 45 minutes.

Witnesses remind us that Wiseman had emphasized to Feisal that:

Zionist will never forget to do their best to establish a Jewish government in Palestine and all they have in mind is to help their country develop, without hurting lawful interests of Arabs.
