Zionists emphasize, via extensive propaganda, that establishment of a Jewish government in the most important spot in the world, i.e. Palestine, had been the result of genius and essential understanding of Jews.
They mention their economic power around the world, and the skill and mastery of the principles of Jewish leaders, and influence the centers of global power, communication and cohesion among Jews throughout the world, and the strength of management, organization and elements of this type as key factors for achieving their desired objectives.
But despite the potential impact of some of affairs mentioned in achieving the goals of Zionism, it should be noted that such claims, whether they come from the clan features and their superiority complex which is used for racist propaganda, can never be the sole justification for the many accidents and incidents which actually resulted in the establishment of the Zionist regime.
The truth is that without consideration of the Christian roots in support of the Zionist idea, realistic analysis of the occupation of Palestine and establishment of a Jewish state is not possible.
A quick look at the amount of interference, continuous planning and activities of non-Jews, in the establishment of the Zionist regime, can reveal the exaggeration of the claim.
Considering that the main and most effective religious roots of Israel's establishment is rooted in the "Christian Zionism" movement and the many generous and overt and covert support during the past centuries until today, in Western countries, and particularly over the last half century comes from the United States of America, it is fair to claim that this issue should be studied in further reflection.
"Christian Zionism" means a set of religious beliefs in the context of achieving the goals of Zionism which are common among some Christians, especially church leaders and Protestant citizens.
The first person to use the term Christian Zionism was Theodor Herzl. He described this term in his conversation with Henry Dunant, founder of the International Red Cross. Dunant, was among the rich, who extended a helping hand to the political Zionist movement and was one of the few characters who was invited to Christian Zionist Conference in Basel in 1897.
At that time, "Christian Zionist" was attributed only in the sense of supporting Christian Zionism, but in later periods, the term took on a religious color and was used in the meaning of "a man helping God in the realization of a Divine prediction in the formation of Zionist regime".
This movement considered the establishment of the Zionist state in Palestine a historical and religious rights to Jews and supported and confirmed it overtly and covertly, directly or indirectly. Because it believes that "The Return" (!) Of the Jews to the Promised Land (Palestine) is the justification for the legitimacy of the law; they argued it was a prerequisite for the reappearance of Christ. Foundations of Christian support of Israel is due to the link between "Israel Today" and "Israel, the Torah".
At this point it should be explained that the term "Christian Zionism" means there is no necessary connection between Zionism and Christianity, "because there is no Christian Zionism in the East, the contrary, Christian Arabs, Palestinian Arabs were among the first enemies of Zionism. Also, both Catholic and Orthodox churches, according to the Christian religion, oppose Zionism. Dozens of Christian thinkers in the West are also based on the principles of Christian Protestant Christianity, opposed to Zionism.”
Bishop Ikram Lami in opposition to the thought and practice of the Christian Zionist, says: Christian Zionists have infected the righteous deeds with politics; the media affiliated with the United States, occasionally, speak of prayer and fasting for Israel ... And declare that God is not accepted except by prayer and fasting for Christians to avoid political criticism of Israel.
He further adds that:
The last will and testament of Jesus Christ to his disciples was asking them to go around the world and send the gospel to the people; but Christian Zionists with free offer of the gospel to the Jews, not only strayed this advice, but always acted against it. They encouraged Jews to believe that their rejection of the Gospel will accelerate the re-emergence of the Christ. They believe that bringing the Gospel to the Jews, and unlawful acts is contrary to the Bible. Therefore, with the encouragement of the Christian Zionist movement, Israel's parliament on Dec. 25, 1977, passed a law under which anyone who invited Jews to the teachings of the Gospel, will be sentenced to imprisonment.
On the other hand, at a conference of representatives of the church community in the Middle East, in October 2002 which was held in Lebanon, participants emphasized: because referring the so-called "Christian Zionism" on the far-right Christian America, insults the essence of the Christian faith, its use and repetition should be avoided.
They suggested that the expression "pro-Zionist Christian communities" should change.
"Baba Sphenoid III," the bishop of Alexandria also emphasizes that what is known as Christian Zionism is just an American innovation and stresses that there is no such thing in the Arab world and is rejected by all tribes and religions of the world famous Christian.
Therefore, it is more correct to say: "Christian Zionism" inextricably bound with a "religious fundamentalism" in Christianity.
Usually religious fundamentalism in the sense of stagnation and rigid stance is used against the idea and applied ethics.
Evangelical fundamentalists put their beliefs on the basis of the literal meaning of the Bible, the Old and New Testament (Torah and Gospel) and believe that this book includes general guidelines and criteria, including political affairs, and also includes predictions of the future, such as "reclaim Israel "and" return of Christ ".
These fundamentalists, in reading and interpretation of the "Old Testament" emphasize on a pivotal issue in the Torah (the Pentateuch, the books of Kings, Chronicles and the prophets). This pivotal issue is: "Israel" and its selective and sacred nation and the need to defend this nation and eternal belonging to Promised Land, namely Palestine to the people. Visual appeal and word for word of evangelical fundamentalists to the Bible text made him interpret the word "Israel" in the Old Testament texts and link it to meaning of the current regime of Israel.
Gnostic historical ties between Israel and the Torah, the Zionist regime of Israel, in turn, has led to new beliefs which are described in the following sentences:
1. What has occurred in the past include:
A) God has selected the Jews as superior race.
B) God has put the homeland of the Jewish people and Palestine as the land for their worship.
C) The Jews were punished because of their opposition to the divine.
D) (Yet) He never breached his promise to the chosen people.
E) God sent Jesus Christ to save the world, but the Jews did not believe him.
2. What will happen in the future?
A) Divine destiny ensures the return of Christ.
B) Return of the Jewish people to the Promised Land (Palestine) is the precondition for the reappearance of Jesus Christ.
C) The establishment of Israel in 1948 in Palestine, and full control of the Jews in Jerusalem, after two thousand years, is the most obvious sign of the imminent return of Christ.
D) All individuals, groups and governments opposed or animosity towards Israel, are the enemies of God, because they procrastinate the fulfillment of the predictions in Torah.
Barbara Tuchman, a Jewish historian has said in a book entitled the Bible and Sword: If the Christianity failed to explain roots and foundations of the Jewish connection to the Holy Land (Palestine) ... there was never Israel.
Here it should be noted that Christians regard both the Bible, the Old Testament and New Testament to be holy and valid. In other words the holy book of Christians, i.e. Bible, includes two general sections:
The first part is called the Old Testament (Torah) and has 39 trips, including Moses, Pentateuch, Historical Journeys, Poetic Journeys and prophetic journeys. The second part is called the New Testament (Gospel) and includes four gospels, Acts, Epistles of the Apostles (Paul, Peter, John and Jude) and the Revelation of the apostle John.
To Christians, Bible is the most sacred word of God. They take their agnostic teachings from this book. But at the same time, from their perspective, Bible does not abrogate the Torah, but it is complementary and therefore in most cases both parts are published in a single volume and faithful Christian commit themselves to the study of both parts.
