The Conference on Christian Zionism

The bondage of Christianity and Zionism paved the way for the appearance of foundations and organizations which are strongly doing activity in the United States. One of the biggest and most powerful of such organizations whose penetration extends to all over the world is “International Christian Embassy”.
This organization was founded at the end of September 1980, while more than one thousand Christian bishop and priest from 23 countries had gathered in a conference held in Quds.
Holding this conference in Quds delivered this message that from the viewpoint of Christian Zionism, this city was considered the capital of Israel. Even, the foundation of International Christian Embassy had been meant to be in response to Israel disagreement. It was made in reaction to the act of some world governments in moving their embassies from Quds to Tel Aviv.
The organization established offices in the western part of Jerusalem and opened Consulates in 37 countries managing of them was left for the Jewish priests.
The headquarters of the organization is in the state of North Carolina, and in most large towns in America has established branches.
These branches collect donations for Israel and holds conferences. Also, in certain cases, make demonstration in favor of the Zionist regime of Israel and sell manufactured goods, and special sightseeing tours to visit the occupied territories. In addition, it attempts to use effective levers at its disposal to put pressure on important centers of decision-making in different countries for the benefit of Israel.
Embassy staff believe that the borders of Israel should be spread at the point of two rivers, the Nile and the Euphrates. The head of the organization clearly says that their Zionist tendencies are stronger than those of the Israelis themselves.
In the days 27 to August 29, 1985, the leaders of the International Christian Embassy, attempted to organize a major conference in the Swiss city of Basel.
Ms. Grace Halsell, a journalist and author who was among the guests at the conference, writes:
This conference was held in Basel, Switzerland in the same auditorium in which 88 years ago (1897), Herzl held the First Zionist Conference. In this three-day conference, I was one of 589 personalities from 27 countries who were invited.
Time sessions per day on average were twelve hours, during which, the guests were listening to the words of the leaders of prominent Israelis and Christian. The meeting that lasted for 36 hours, 99% of political debates and not a word about Jesus Christ was mentioned.

 

The only topic of the conference was about how to support the Israeli government to carry out political calendar of deterministic Christians, and how to collaborate with the Christian Zionist political calendar.
The participants in the conference, at the end of their meeting, issued a statement in which the concept of Christian Zionism and its goals and programs were clearly described.
The introduction to the statement said:
We, the representatives of various countries, now in the small hall which 88 years ago, Theodor Herzl convened the first Zionist Conference and paved the way for the establishment of the State of Israel, have gathered together to seek the satisfaction of Lord perform prayer and express our indebt to our great religion and our indescribable fascination over the nation, country and emphasize on our solidarity to them.
We believe that the Jews, after experiencing all those suffering in the past, are still the target of bitter hatred of their enemies. We Christians acknowledge that the church throughout history, has not acted fairly to the suffering of the people. We are now in Europe, after forty years of pain and torture inflicted on the Jewish people, one heart and one language, declare our support for the Israeli government and speak of a government whose preliminaries of its establishment was made in this city.
We say that regimes who inflicted Holocaust against the Jewish people, will never come back and will not repeat their crimes.
In the statement it is said that:
We congratulate Israeli government and people on their successes gained in less than four decades. We want you to be steadfast in the way of God and rely on Him in the face of difficulties and the war against enemies. We enthusiastically want you to try to realize your ideals and know that it was only the powerful hand of God who saved you from the land of banishment and took you back to the Holy Land, based on the predictions of the Holy Bible.
Finally, we invite Jews all over the world to migrate to Israel and expect all Christians to support their fellow Jews in the steps they take with the divine inspiration.
Bishop honor Lam'ee, in a critique targeted at the conference, said: The Christian Embassy in Jerusalem was the founder of the Christian Zionist Congress, published a small book titled Foundations of Christian Zionism in the Bible. In this book, verses from the Bible are presented in a way that there is no mention of before and after verses, and regardless of the evidence and the reasons for it, it expelled the Zionist concepts and Jesus Christ who is the Messenger of peace and freedom, is depicted as man of war.

 

While it was expected from the board of Christian Embassy in Jerusalem to depict Jesus Christ, as presented in the Bible, among the Jewish people and the State of Israel, as a messenger of peace, so that perhaps Israel stop acts of violence, killing and destruction.
It is to be noted that the conference was attended by Isaac Shamir, Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Rabbi Schlomogorin as well as many military commanders and prominent members of the Israeli Foreign Ministry and the leaders of the Christian Zionist movement, from around the world was rejected by all the heads of Churches Christian Jerusalem, Orthodox, Catholic, Anglican, evangelical. Evangelical churches and bodies also all the churches of the Middle East and the entire West condemned it.
Therefore, it must be said that this riot was arranged by a group of evangelical Western fundamentalist, mainly American, whose number is less than 7% of the population of the United States and Israel on the way to advance their goals.
Since the conference was first of all a political conference, its members used the Bible, especially the Old Testament as a tool to justify the occupation of Palestinian land. Zionist regime also relying on the lever, do not give any rights to the original inhabitants and believes that local Christians and Muslims, must be dismissed.
Thus, the Christian Zionist conference easily placed the Bible and Christian moral values at the service of Western and Israeli policies. It is interesting that during the conference, they never mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, and where necessary, only the Jewish interpretation (Messiah) was mentioned!
At this point it is necessary to mention the name the "World Conference on Christian Zionism" in April 1988 which was established in Israel.
In the final section of the conference, participants investigated the relationship between Israel and mass media and expressed their concerns over this issue; the believed mass media do not pay much attention to Israel and are indifferent toward Jews who are frightened by Palestinians!
