The re-emergence and the rule of Messiah which lasts for one thousand years. The return and the re-emergence of Jesus Christ is one of the solid ideas of Christianity and one of the main tenets of the Christian faith.
In this regard, the Christians rely on some words and propositions of the Old and New Testaments, including:
1. Finally, when all the world shall hear the good news mentioned in the Gospel, and all shall be aware of it, then the world will also come to an end.
2. Then, O’ God! The God of Israel! Now realize and act upon the promise you made to my father when you said, if your children are obedient to my commands, as you were, always one of your descendants will rule as a king over Israel.
3. As commanded by God, for your people in your holy city, it will take seventy weeks until as the prophetic revelations, corruption and evil vanish, the price for the sins shall be paid, an eternal justice is restored and the Holy of Holies shall be once again made sacred. I want you to know therefore and understand that from the time when the decree was announced to rebuild Jerusalem, until the advent of God's chosen leader, there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks and with the critical situation, the streets of Jerusalem and its walls will be reconstructed.

Bishop Akram Lam’ee writes:

We now live in the time of the two cases of emergence. The first appearance was two thousand years ago, but we are unaware of the date of the Second Advent.
Awaiting the advent of Christ is of the important aspects of the gospel and none of the Gospels has failed to mention this event, and even though all the Christians of the world believe in this, there are disputes and controversies in the quality and the details of this appearance. These differences point to the same gap and the division through which Zionism has infiltrated and had made some Christians believe that the formation of the Jewish state is one of the signs of the advent.

Bishop Sabri Vassili Peterus says:

The question of the reappearance of Jesus Christ has a special place in the Bible. Just as the advent of the first. The number of the verses in the Gospel which speak of the Christ's reappearance comes down to 319 verses. This means that out of every 25 verses in the New Testament, one verse is about the reappearance of Jesus Christ and this shows that there is no doctrine in the Bible which is as significant as this subject.
It is also important not to evade the fact that that although the vast majority of Christians believe that:
"The reappearance of Jesus Christ, is indeed continuing his first appearance and there is no conflict and difference of any kind between the two rising", but a group of evangelical fundamentalists among whom we can refer to Sun Mong Moun also believe that Christ suffered in his first appearance and it was a failure. Thus, once again, he appears to correct his past mistakes!
But the theory concerning the reign of Christ which lasts for one thousand years, has been formed on the basis of the Revelation of John the Apostle, which is mentioned in the last section of the Gospels. According to the apostle, the story is told based on John's vision about the future of the world:
Then I saw an angel come down from the heaven. He brings the key of an endless abyss and there was a strong chain in his hand. He seized the dragon, chained it, and cast it into the endless abyss for one thousand years.
Then, he closed and locked the cover of the abyss so that it cannot deceive anyone for one thousand years. After this time, the dragon will be free for a few moments. The dragon is the old serpent called the devil and Satan. Then I saw thrones and those sitting on them and they were given power authority and the power for proceedings. Then I saw the souls of those who were beheaded because of speaking about the message of Jesus and the Word of God ... they all began life again and they reign with Christ a thousand years. This is the first resurrection. The next resurrection will occur at the end of the millennium, at the time, the rest of the dead will come alive.
Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. They have no fear of the second death, but they are the priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him for a thousand years. After the end of the thousand years, Satan will be released from prison. He will go out to deceive diverse nations meaning the Gog and the Magog and unite them for the war. They will form a great army whose numbers would be as numerous as the sands in the beach. In a vast plain, they shall surround the people of God and the beloved city of Jerusalem on every side, but fire shall drop from heaven, by God’s token and the fire shall fall to burn all of them.
Then the devil that deceived them will be cast into the lake of fire…
Of course, the "one-thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ" is not accepted by all Christian nations, and many religious figures of Christianity have considered it a fraudulent and erroneous perception of the Gospel.

Bishop Akram Lam’ee writes:

The one-thousand-year reign of Christ, from Jerusalem over the world, is a fictitious story and has no conclusive evidence in the Bible. All that it does refer to in this case are some Bible verses that have been interpreted in a biased way with ulterior intentions. Moreover, this is an inhuman and racist account and is in sheer contrast with the mission of Jesus Christ and the truth of his general goals.
However, a large number of the fundamentalist Christians, including Protestants, have considered this a key element of their Christian faith and believe that steps should be taken by the Jews to accept Jesus Christ and the one-thousand-year-old rule. They emphasize that the liberation of Jesus, in the wake of his re-emergence, after his victory in the battle of “Armajdoon” will sit on the throne of David and will rule the world for a thousand years.
Grace Halsell writes while explaining this subject using the words of the fundamentalist Christians:
God has divine plans for the Christians and the Jews. The establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 was the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy and is assumed as one of God’s plans for the Jews in terms of the land. This indicates that the initial signs and symptoms of the reappearance of Jesus Christ are taking place.
