It is noteworthy that in all cases where Israel has conducted military operations to capture new territories, they have called this movement as a step towards maintaining the securing Israel.
In 1972, Gold Mayer (the prime minister of the occupying regime), during an interview, in response to a journalist who has asked: "What land do you consider necessary to guarantee your security?", he replied:
If you mean that we should draw a clear line and limit, we have not done so. When such a thing is necessary, we will take action, but one of the sensitive points in the Israeli policy is that the borders of 4 June 1967 can no longer be established in a peace deal. Should changes be made at the border, we have to provide our own security, thus demanding changes in the borders, in all our borders.
The fact is that the concept of "providing security for Israel" is a so-called open and unlimited subject which is never defined by the Zionist regime and its framework is not drawn at any time. However, after nearly six decades of the establishment of the regime, it has been shown what the Jewish leaders mean by the security of Israel.
The security of Israel means:
-Whenever necessary, and when the regional and global situation demand, supported by the United States of America, the Zionist regime can resort to brute strength and massive military attacks to realize their expansionist policies and gain new parts of the occupied Muslim lands.- Whenever and for whatever reason, the Israelis feel that they are in a position of weakness and passivity, they begin to create an atmosphere of pressure from the Western powers, especially the US, to bring the Arabs back to the negotiating table and the so-called peace agreements, and thus gain new privileges from them.
- The regime committed the terrible massacres of Deir Yassin, Qabiyeh, Kufr Qasm, Sabra and Shatila, Qana, the Al-Aqsa mosque, the shrine of Abraham, south Lebanon, Jenin and in many ways, the world believe that the small and poor and innocent Jewish nation, after thousands of years of exile and persecution, is now only demanding the right to life and because of the malice and cruelty of the Arabs and the Palestinians, Israel is constantly under the threat of destruction!
- With the repeated bombardment of the Palestinian camps in southern Lebanon and the use of the delay bombs (which exploded two hours after hitting the target), this regime has massacred a large group of the families and the medical aid workers who were only looking to find the wounded and injured people.
- During the Sharm el-Sheikh conference (which was held between the Arabs and Israel), the Israeli aircrafts bombed the villages located in south Lebanon, and the Arab citizens were massacred and murdered and the Arabic countries showed restraint and did not show any reaction to this.
- Shimon Peres, the former prime minister of the occupying regime, announced in front of the world media that "our military operations are never done at a time when they can be predicted; rather, with the expulsion of the Palestinians and the Lebanese, and Hamas and Hezbollah, Israel will surprise the world to have a position of authority and power in peace talks and force its demands.
- The conversion of Yasser Arafat and the autonomous government of Palestine into an Israeli gendarme to stop and uproot those warriors of the Palestinian uprising that the occupying regime is incapable of eradicating.
- The Israeli government, whenever necessary, should be able to enter the areas controlled by the Palestinian Authority and, with the guidance and the references made by the autonomous officers, arrest and kidnap any member of the Hamas fighters.
- The Israeli regime has three hundred nuclear bombs by the Arabic and Islamic countries are pressured and deprived of having access to any nuclear technology and the peaceful uses of nuclear energy is banned for them.
- Each day, the mosques and other Muslim holy sites as well as farms and the homes of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza are destroyed with bulldozers and explosives, and no one has the right to show any protest about this.
- Anyone who protests the daily crimes of the Zionist regime and the occupation by the forty-ton tanks confronting a bunch of children and adolescents who do not have any weapon except for the stone and slingshots, is considered a terrorist and any Palestinian who tries to protect and defend his homeland, his dignity and his legitimate rights is also considered a terrorist and saboteur.
Last but not least, the security of Israel, that is, the Israeli military budget, thanks to the unwavering support of the United States government, only in 1996 was about 2/7 billion dollars, while the total budget of the military frontline states, namely, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan was only 9.2 billion dollars in the same year.
In line with the same aggressive and expansionist policies of the Zionist regime, every year, about 50% of their overall budget is allocated to the army and military affairs.
