Ghiz Ghalasi Castle, daughter's castle, is mentioned in several historical books and logbooks. It lies 2 km north of Pol Dokhtar, 18 km south of Miyaneh, over a massive rock and pointed peak on top of Ghaflankuh Mountain.
It is an irregular polygon which covers deep valleys and sharp peaks of Ghaflankuh. The structure is built with bricks and stones, the height of the surrounding wall reaches 4 m.
It has one gate and an exit leading to rocks and dangerous cliffs. About 3 m high, the exit seems to be used for escaping.
The castle included 16 or 24 ruined watchtowers; 8 of which overlook Ghezel Ozan River.
Two cisterns for storing water exist inside the castle, 10 by 15 m in dimensions and 10 m in height. Their water was supplied through rain and snow falls.
Two sides of the castle are made of natural rocks and in the third carved stones are seen.
Furthermore numerous wells are seen whose water was used in critical conditions.
In the time of Shah Abbas Safavi the castle was a haunt for bandits and mobs who made the area insecure and chaotic.
At his order the castle's walls were destroyed. Some believe that the castle as well as the bridge nearby were built in a close time from each other.
But some other historians attribute the building to one of the Sassanid kings, Ardeshir Deraz Dast.
