The house where historical research office of Yahya Zokae opened up dates from the early Pahlavi era. It is located on south Artesh Street, Sadr alley.
Yahya Zokae was one of the founders of Iran's museums and played a significant role in planning and establishment of museums in Tehran and other cities in the last 40 years. To recognise his endeavors on history and Iranology especially research on Azerbaijan and Tabriz, the house was named after him.
With the collaboration of his family the cultural works left from him were transfered to Lalei House in Tabriz to help researchers.
