Lokooneh is among the old local foods in Dezfool which is being left out of the meals. Yet, it is very healthy, nutritious and delicious which you won't ever forget cooking it. It's quite enjoyable.
Ingredients,
Wheat flour, 2 cups
Split chickpeas, cooked, 1 cup
Scallion with leaves, 2 strands
Raisins, 1 cup
Oil, sesame oil preferred
Baker's yeast, 1 tsp
Salt and turmeric, as required
Procedure
Stir the content well and then put the lid. Let it cook for one hour to get ready. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Take part of the content out with a ladle and spread it in the pan in a thin layer. Flip it over to cook the other side. Lokoonehs should be made as big as a plate.
Cooking tip, remove Lokoonehs from the frying pan once they are finely fried and put them separately inside a paper towel or a wooden colander.
