Gule Rizeh, is an Abgusht dish made in Lorestan Province. It is in fact meat balls with gravy. In the recipe, broken rice, wheat flour and potatoes are also applied which make it taste delicious.
Ingredients,
Ground meat, 500 g
Broken rice, 100 g
Wheat flour,100 g
Oil, 100 g
Potatoes, 2 nos
Tomatoes paste, 3 tbsp
Salt and turmeric, as required
Procedure,
To make round shape balls or Gule Rizeh, mix ground meat with broken rice, wheat flour, salt and turmeric, finely kneading.
Then take a small piece and shape it into balls in your hands. Slowly add the meat balls to the boiling gravy until half-cooked.
At the end of the procedure, put peeled, and largely sliced potatoes inside the pot in low flame to cook. After 30 minutes the dish is ready.
