Ingredients for 4,
Lentils, 250 g
Potatoes, 2 nos
Walnuts, 1 cup
Onions, Medium-sized, 4 nos
Eggs, 2 nos
Pomegranates paste, 3 tbsp
Water, 5 cups
Salt, black pepper, as required
Turmeric and cinnamon, as required
Cook lentils along with the potatoes, one chopped onion and 3 cups of water. Once cooked, mash them. Fry the remaining onions, and sprinkle in turmeric and add to the mashed mixture.
Then add in walnuts, pomegranates paste, salt, black pepper, cinnamon and 2 cups of water.
Put the mixture over a low flame till the stew thickens. At the end of cooking process, break eggs over top.Once they are solid, the stew is ready to serve.
