Recipe 1
Ingredients,
Walnuts, 200 g
Chicken breast, 1 no
Dried apricot pieces, 12 nos
Currants, 150 g
Pomegranates paste, 2 tbsp
Tomatoes paste, 3 tbsp
Angelica, as required
Salt, pepper and turmeric, as required
Fried onions, 3 tbsp
Procedure
First grind walnuts until soft and smooth. Then put it in a pot along with pomegranates paste, salt, pepper, turmeric as well as chicken breast and a glass of water and fry until the pot is covered in oil from walnuts. After 15 minutes, pour in 2 glasses of cold water and put it over a slow heat to boil.
After one hour, remove chicken breast pieces from the pot, and add in fried onions, tomato paste, dried peach pieces and currants along with 2 glasses of cold water. When ground walnuts are a little hard, add in chicken breast and angelica. After 10 minutes, remove the stew from the heat. You can serve it in bowls.

Ingredients,
Chicken, or duck, 1 no
Currants, 200g
Dried apricot pieces, de-seeded 400 g
Pomegranates paste, 200 g
Walnuts, 500 g
Procedure
Motanjan Stew
First pour 2 glasses of water along with pomegranate paste to boil. Then grind walnuts slowly and add it with the chicken to the pot. Clean currants and and fry them with dried apricot pieces. When chicken is done, add fried apricot pieces and currants. Allow it to boil over the flame for half an hour. If it becomes very thick pour in 1/2 glass of warm water. Sprinkle in salt, pepper and angelica to your taste and remove from the heat.
