The cuisine is tried in Hormozgan Province. Although it is one of the yummiest recipes, it is not tried among families. The recipe does n't take much time and includes a unique taste. If you apply the fillets from starry sturgeon or narrow-barred mackerel, you won't ever forget the taste! Cut the fish into proper-sized pieces and onto a skewer! If you want to apply the whole fish, you will have to use barbecue. If you don't have access to barbecue, carefully put the fish onto parallel skewers and grill it over the open fire. You just need to grease the skewers till the fish does n't stick to them.
Ingredients
Serves 4
Fish fillets, 1 kg, cut into 3*3 pieces
Liquid Oil, 1/4 cup
Lemon juice, 6 tablespoons
Onion juice, 6 tablespoons
Brewed saffron, 4 tablespoons
Salt and red pepper, for seasoning
Recipe 1
 Grilled Fish
In a mixing bowl, combine together oil, lemon juice, onion juice, and brewed saffron and sprinkle enough pepper and salt.
Dry completely the washed pieces of fish fillets and marinate inside the mixing bowl. Give it at least 1 hour to get a desirable taste.
Put the marinated fillets onto skewers and grill over the charcoal. Once one side is grilled, flip over till the fillets are brown and crispy.
Recipe 2
Instead of saffron, apply the combination of red pepper and garlic powder. You will have to omit onion juice from the recipe this way.
Since the fillets might fall apart once using a single skewer, you are recommended to apply several skewers together. Put them all in a parallel line and put the whole fish onto skewers very carefully. Put them over the charcoal and turn over to grill all sides.
A few moments before removing the kebabs from the fire, rub drops of melted butter over the fish.
Once ready, remove to a plate and garnish with lemon rings, tomato wedges, and lettuce leaves. Bon Appetit!
