The savory stew is very famous due to its appetizing flavor.
Ingredients
Chicken, 1 no
Herbs such as, coriander, leek, parsley, mint and basil, 500 g altogether
Fresh garlic cloves , 5 nos
Pomegranate paste, 1 1/2 cups
Sour orange juice, as per taste
Ginger, saffron and rosemary, for marinating
Walnuts, 400 g
Sour Chicken Stew
Directions
Chop the herbs finely and sauté well in a pan with drops of oil. Add in powdered walnuts, finely chopped onions and garlic and stir frequently almost 5 minutes. Take a pot and transfer the fried mixture and pour in 3 to 5 glasses of water so that it covers the whole ingredients.
Marinate Chicken pieces in a bowl using pepper, salt, rosemary, ginger powder, and saffron and keep it in the fridge for a couple of hours till well-maintained. Fry the pieces in a pan and add into the pot. Mix pomegranate paste in some water and add into the stew. Reduce the heat to low and allow the stew to get greasy, accumulated in oil. It will take 2 to 3 hours on a low steady heat depending on the amount of chicken pieces. Once settled, remove to a desired dish. If desired, add in sour orange juice or unripe grapes juice half an hour before serving. Serve with rice. You won't ever forget the taste. Bon Appetit everybody!
