The dish is tried in a Neighborhood in desert area of Kashan known as Khalid Abad.
Ingredients
Serves 6
Rice, 4 cups
Black-eyed beans
Lamb meat, fore shank or hind shank, 500 g
Onions, medium, 2 nos
Turmeric, 3 tsp
Salt, as per taste
Oil, 100 g
For each cup of rice or beans, apply 1/2 teaspoon salt and the same amount of turmeric.
Directions
After half an hour, add in 1 teaspoon salt and let cook over the low heat till its water is thoroughly gone.
Once meat and beans are entirely cooked, wash the rice and and add into the mixture of meat and beans. Pour in 6 cups water, and add in salt and oil. Make it like Katteh. Cook over the high flame and allow the water to steam entirely. Then wrap the lid with a piece of cloth and reduce the heat to low till ready.
Once ready, transfer to a platter and serve with pickles and yogurt. Bon Appetit!
