Ingredients:
2 tablespoons flour400 g cheese, cubed
5 ablespoons oil
2 dessertspoons coriander powder
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 desserspoon curry powder
1 desertspoon black caraway
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
3 garlic cloves, pressed
300 g tomatoes, pureed
1 1/2 fresh green peas
1/3 glass parsley leaves, chopped
1/2 glass water
1 dessertspoon turmeric powder
Directions:
Roll cubes of cheese in the plate of flour.Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and add in the cheese rolled in flour and saute till brown in color. Keep aside.
Pour 3 tablespoons of the remaining oil in a dish on the stove and saute caraway seeds till a good smell comes out. Then add in the chopped onion and saute 10 minutes till a bit golden.
Stir in ginger, garlic and coriander powder and saute 1 more minute. Pour in the tomato puree, 1/2 glass water as well as turmeric powder and when boiling, reduce the heat to low Cover the dish and allow to cook over the heat15 minutes till thickened. Don't forget to stir the stew occasionally, in the meantime.
Add in green peas and cheese and continue cooking till pas are soft. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and curry powder and finally add in chopped parsley. Serve either with rice or bread. Bon Appetit!
