Preparation for multilateral war
Sea arrangements continue in the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean Sea since 2001with the strategic goal of logistical preparations for war against Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, the Palestinian resistance, Syria and Iran. Paris and Berlin have intense vested interest in the Battle of Britain and America in the Middle East. As it is strongly underlined by the authorities in France, Germany and Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East are Europe Union's western borders.
Operation Orchard: Creating a fake and self-centered nuclear axis of Syria, Iran and North Korea
In Sept 2007, Israeli warplanes violated Syrian airspace and mysteriously bombed one of the facilities which was unheard. The Syrian military reported that Israeli aircraft illegally entered Syrian airspace from over the Mediterranean Sea and headed towards northeastern Syria.
Air defense units confronted Israeli warplanes and made them have leave Syria. However, they dropped some ammunition in deserted areas without any human or material damage.
Syria immediately declared that Israel was trying to create pretexts for another war in the Middle East. America's government also entered the commotion by claiming that the White House was aware of the operation and the Pentagon had helped Israel. The White House also announced that Israelis destroyed a Syrian facility that was in relation with secret nuclear program of Damascus. Syria announced in response that the attacks and the claims about a secretive nuclear program in Syria was a starting point for the involvement of America in Israel's war against Syria.
In this context, Syria restrained itself, fearing that Israel wants Damascus to get involve in a war.
Professor Eyal Zisser stated that any misunderstanding could lead to conflagration. However, Syria's statements were surprising considering his restraint.
It was also reported that the operation was a test for an Israeli attack on Iran. Israel and America also announced that the Russian-made air defense systems did not work well in Syria. This type of attack could also put pressure on Syria to attend the country in Annapolis conference. The attacks were described as a success by the Bush administration and the media. A propaganda campaign was started. Efforts were done for establishing and stabling threat of nuclear proliferation in North Korea, Iran and Syria through disinformation of media and political statements.
According to America and Israel sates' declarations, alleged nuclear facility was a Syrian project that was created with the help of Iran and North Korea. Trying to capture Syria for having weapons of mass destruction program is not a new approach. In fact, shortly after the invasion of Britain and America in Iraq, Washington and London actively started to attempt to paint a picture of Syria as a way Iraq was depicted, in this regard, which Damascus has hidden stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction.
In early April 2008, it became clear that Israel and America had a plan to release details about Operation Orchard and alleged Syrian nuclear facility attacked by Israel, in order to further demonization of Syria and creation of a connection between Syria, Iran and North Korea in relation to making weapons of mass destruction.
The Jerusalem Post reported in April 14, 2008 that Israeli experts suggested that full disclosure about the Israeli attack in Congress of America in 2007 can make Syrians concern as much as showing militarily responding against Israel.
The assassination of Imad Mughniyeh in Damascus: a start to War?
On February 12, 2008 Imad Mughniyeh, a senior Hezbollah security official was assassinated by a remote-controlled bombed car. The intelligence services of America, Israel, Britain, France, Germany, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia were all accused of involvement in the assassination in a way. According to The Daily Star, English-language newspaper published in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia had helped Israel in assassinating Imad Mughniyeh, and Saudi military was arrested in Damascus due to links with a Syrian person of the assessination.
A month after the assassination of Imad Mughniyeh, America Vice President, Cheney, traveled to the Middle East region. During the visit, he said, "We should not and will not ignore the darkening shadows of the situations over Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Iran and the forces there that are working to avoid the hopes of the world". Dick Cheney pointed out by hint that a war is going to happen and America is ready to help Israel.
Not a long time passed for experts to understand the testimony of Imad Mughniyeh was just an excuse and pretext for start of a war in the Middle East. Israeli intelligence started its efforts at a misinformation campaign to create doubts about the murder of Imad Mughniyeh. Tel Aviv aims were shifting the blames towards the Syrians by a psychological campaign to create doubts and mistrust between Hezbollah, Syria and Iran, in order to strain their alliance and weaken the Resistance Bloc.
According to Israel's Channel 10 declaration, a short time after the assassination of Mughniyeh, Tel Aviv sent a letter to Hezbollah through a third party and threatened it to another disproportionate war. Tel Aviv also did not lose any chance to threaten Syria if Hezbollah starts retaliatory attacks on Israel.
In this regard, Reuters reported that an unnamed senior Israeli official introduced conflict with the Syrians as a reprisal for hostile Lebanese and Palestinian actions against Israel.
The root of these issues which are called as hostile actions by Lebanese and Palestinian groups is a retaliatory to hostile actions initiated by Tel Aviv. In many cases, the main driver of attacks against Israel are from the Tel Aviv to create the justifications of postponing peace, annexing more Palestinian territory to it, and launching war.
In mid-April 2008, Israeli helicopters and fighter jets created insecurity among residents of Haifa to follow an unidentified light of a plane entering Israeli airspace.
Israeli military and security forces were on high alert since the Mughniyeh's assassination.
On March 2008 an Israeli warship entered Lebanese waters which was stopped by an Italian warship; a move that many in Lebanon saw as a taunt against Israel.
Israel has advertised very publicly that it expects retaliation by Hezbollah. The retaliation could give Israel a pretext for war. The Israeli government used the opportunity to raise domestic tensions amongst its citizens. Israeli officials were also warned about possible attacks from the Lebanese border by Iranian-made explosive devices with UAVs under the control of Hezbollah.
Creating a pretext for war with Lebanon
Israel, as part of a concerted public relations campaign, claims that Hezbollah has increased the range of its rocket arsenal.
Tel Aviv's public advertisement is placed next to the protocol of Israeli officials in the field of increase of range of Hezbollah rockets, who permanently work for public confidence in the strength of the Israeli military and security apparatus.
Although there may be a little truth in the Israeli statements, the main objective behind their public advertisements is providing further excuses for further Israeli aggression, such as pre-emptive strikes on Lebanon - or what is called "Northern Front" - and in the Middle East.
In fact, range of Lebanon rockets was to the extent that could harm deep into Israel before Tel Aviv decides to divulge their information.
Hezbollah had already threatened Tel Aviv in 2006 that it will attack Tel Aviv if Israel bombed Beirut. The appropriate timing of giving the information about range of Hezbollah rocket by Israeli officials was associated with portraying growing threat amongst its own citizens and gaining their support. In the case of Hezbollah, like Palestinian Resistance and Syria, the increase of range of their projectiles, which were generally attributed to Iran, was the ultimate target.
Since the beginning of March 2008 Israeli-controlled media reported that the Israeli government has been warned that all over the Israel including the city of Dimona in the Negev Desert will be in the exposure of missiles of Hezbollah in Lebanon. Reporters of Haaretz quoted Palestinian sources reported that Hezbollah militants, who recently returned to the Gaza Strip after training in Iran, have a detailed plan for upgrading the capabilities of missiles and advancing them in Gaza.
It should be noted that the Palestinian Authority sources, to which the reporters referred, are the unelected Fatah officials in the West Bank who will cooperate with the Israelis. This type of report helps boosting the war.
Basically, war against Lebanon is an intricate parcel of a broader conflict in the Middle East which is in fact a piece of the larger conflict in Eurasia. The fact that Palestinian resistance groups have been trained in Lebanon, Syria and Iran is as a justification for war and as a means to tie all three republics to each other as a single enemy axis by Israel.
Apart from those who are fighting in the Palestinian territories, in the major war events the Palestinian groups based in Lebanon and Syria have indicated that they will fight alongside the Lebanese and Syrians. Palestinians in Lebanon and Jordan have also made it clear that they would participate in such measures.
Since 2008 efforts were started to implicate Hezbollah in attacks on US and English forces in Iraq. These reports which were mainly raised by London were to link Hezbollah to the roadside bomb attack in Basra in the beginning of Britain and America's attack to Iraq, but that charge was not valid, and was never taken seriously.
The main British objective of involving Hezbollah as an enemy in Iraq was for Lebanon to be attacked by Israel like the year 2006.
In April 2008, General David Petraeus, the commander of coalition forces in Iraq, accused Iran and Hezbollah of helping the Iraqis who attacked Green Zone in Baghdad. He said to America's Senate about allege of Hezbollah's involvement in killing American and Coalition forces: we and Iraqi security forces are focused on specific groups (ie those forces that are fighting against American and Coalition forces). These elements are trained by the help of Hezbollah and directly by the Quds Force of Iran, and are funded. The allegations by General Petraeus were in fact only a part of a deliberate attempt to justify the larger role of America in the next conflicts against Lebanon.
Mediterranean Front
The issue has become clear for the Pentagon - Tel Aviv and NATO that the Levant is ready to enlighten Mediterranean battle-front in a case that a war occurs against Iran. In this regard, intangible warships have been highly prepared in the Mediterranean Sea for war plans against Iran.

2006 siege of Lebanon by Israel with the active support of America's military and America's plans in Israel was a phase of the schedule and also a display by the two sides for a larger war in the Middle East. Both sides were given an opportunity to re-evaluate their tactics and strategies for such an upcoming war.
