1) There is no doubt that the withdrawal of Jewish settlers from the Palestinian territories in Gaza was a significant event. This event represents the victory of the Palestinian people's resistance against the occupiers that used any way to suppress and kill and occupy and benefit the largest superpower in world's history and nearly all European countries support them and four-fifths of the media of the world are serving their interests.
2) Today, people surprisingly see that Israelis are forced to withdraw from territory which was occupied by Israel 38 years ago with grief and despair. It is the place where the founders of Israel call it as most radical part of the Promised Land and the most extremist children of Israel had been brought to the land in order to take rest of the Palestinian territories gradually by force and take this country. However, now the Palestinian people, who have just started al-Aqsa Intifada right since Sharon's famous visit to Jerusalem, have been able to force the most extreme Israeli politicians to withdraw from the Gaza Strip.
3) During decades, Palestinian nation has endured the most painful experience of humanitarian in the most difficult conditions, and the Zionist regime has taken all rights of this nation from them by Britain and then the United States and many Western countries' support with the most brutal actions. Sharon slaughtered many people in the Sabra and Shatila which are the shame of humanity, but we cannot see examples of suffering and pain of nation of Palestine especially in the western media. In the past days and weeks, television and radio stations and newspapers and other media types in the West reported sentimental descriptions of the sad state of Jewish settlers out of the Gaza Strip. In these reports that raise a high amount of sympathy, they show how extremist Jews were forced to leave their homes with images and movies. Massive Zionist propaganda campaign in the Western media about withdrawal of Israeli settlers from the Gaza Strip clearly represents the Western way of thinking and attitude towards the world and the people. The media successfully change and reverse the face of the oppressor and the oppressed with their imagination.
4) There is no doubt that the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip has defined goals, and Sharon undoubtedly is going to execute large plots in the occupied territories in the future. However, this does not mean that the Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip is an Israeli plan which is developed and implemented only by Sharon's will and authority to implement some specific policies. On the contrary, this measure has been imposed on Sharon and his regime and he is nothing but a reactive actor who has done desperation the least passive reaction. Sharon just regretted and cried in front of the television for Israeli protests to withdraw from Gaza because he knows that his violent policies have failed in the heaviest way. Sharon first came to power with an iron fist policy. He started his promise by settlements expansion in the region and started killing Palestinians on both sides of the Jordan River. In fact, when the Al-Aqsa Mosque's Intifada weakened Israel, Zionists considered that they will push Palestinians away by bringing Sharon to power, who is actually the most extreme and most brutal Zionist political figure in the past half century. During years, Sharon applied any violent methods that can be placed in human mind to destroy the Palestinian resistance, but what is the result today?
5) The result is that legitimate Palestinian resistance has more reputation today in the world over the past, and rights of the Palestinian people is heard louder in the world, Islamic Resistance Movement position among the Palestinians has been strengthened to the extent that both Sharon and his European and American friends and Palestinian compromising factions of free elections in the Palestinian parliament are considered as a nightmare because they have no doubt in the victory of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Now, once again it has become apparent that usurp and violent in today's world in which nations are awakened and determined to defend their existence and identity does not stand for ever and is not sustainable, and this has nothing to do with balance of power between usurping and the captured person.
6) What goals does Sharon have in removal of 8,500 settlers from the Gaza Strip? Sharon has said repeatedly that he wants to give it to improve Israel's security. He says we cannot afford to resist in narrow corridor where more than one million four hundred thousand angry, poor Palestinians are living in and are determined to make it as the world's most densely place, and every day their number is increasing as well. It seems that today in the occupied territories, Sharon plans to implement the policy of apartheid. The basis of this policy, which the supreme example of it was implemented in South Africa's previous regime, is that the ruling race should be in distance from being ruled races, and social and political structures should be such that communications and exchanges become less and less. Therefore, apartheid replaces concept of racial segregation by racial discrimination that has always been merged by a kind of Social interaction among the races. Although, Palestine issue does not have a remarkable racial aspect, but the kind of relations between Palestinians and Israelis is in compliance with the apartheid regime in South Africa. Zionists' methods have always been based on oppression and humiliation and undermining the Palestinian people and destruction of social and economic life with interfering presence and direct military and security oppression. But Sharon's experience in limitless violence against Palestinians for having the Gaza Strip and providing security for several thousand extremist settlers against the Palestinian population has failed now, so he tries to modify the South African experience in the occupied territories. Sharon wants to separate the Palestinians from what is called the Israel's main soil. In this way, removal of settlers from the Gaza Strip is not the first step, but the move began months ago by consultations with the United States and then construction of the wall in Palestinian population centers to separate rom Jewish section. Now, with the withdrawal of settlements from Gaza and reducing the physical presence of Israeli forces in the region, this process has entered a new phase.
7) What effects and consequences this policy will have? With the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, Zionist and Western circles and propaganda media, have launched a propaganda campaign to induce people in the world that Sharon is not a man who they knew him as the most cruel politician, but he is the man of peace and justice, and he even make sacrifices for peace in Gaza which today we are seeing its examples. However, the reality is different. Sharon has turned the Gaza Strip into a big cage that the Jordan River is as the same sentence of retaining wall around the indigenous Palestinian population in other parts of Palestine in order to imprison the Palestinians in similar population centers to Bantustans of South Africa.
8) It is now where we shall say that Sharon's behavior is not based on a discourse of peace or justice, but it is only in the context of the discourse that has been continued since the beginning of his kingship which is in fact security discourse. This separation accompanies attempts to create the Palestinian quasi-government without recognition of constituent elements of the state which are independent national army and economic and policy so that the illusion appear that the Palestinian issue is getting solved.
9) The next step in the process is normalizing relations of the Zionists with Arab states which is actually another dimension of the concept of separation which is also separating the Arab world from the issue of Palestine and to put pressure on the Arabs by the United States and Europe to establish political and economic relations with the Zionist regime. Thus, Sharon, who had found out that there is no way to keep Zionist regime beside victims of the Zionist regime in future and he must keep a distance from them and now he is spinning a new web around the hand or foot of the Palestinian people.
10) Does Sharon have more skills than rulers of South Africa in implementing the policy of apartheid or will the Palestinian people be limited and passive as a result of these policies? Historical experience shows that it will not. Palestinian liberation is still lively and powerful and supporting these ideals today is far more pronounced in the developed world. The rights of the Palestinian people are more supported by nations rather than Arab governments. Above all, the achievements of the Palestinian people began to increase from the same time that they believed in self-reliant and standing on their feet in the Islamic movement Intifada way.
