Ingredients:1 kg rice
2 kg sour cherry
1/5 to 2 kg sugar
150 to 200 g butter or oil
1/2 tablespoon saffron, ground
80 g slivered pistachios
450 g chicken fillets

Procedure:

Strain rice after putting in a pot of water and cooking till rice is a bit soft. Remove the seeds of the cherries and put over the heat in a pot along with sugar. Wait 10 to 15 minutes and bring to a boil. Remove the cherries from the syrup.
In a pot put 50 g of butter or oil along with 3 tablesppoons cherry syrup and mix well. Then spread 1 spatula of strained rice followed by 1 spatula of cherries. Do this onto the top. Mix oil and cherry syrup and pour a around the pot. Close the pot and wait till well-cooked. In a frying pan, mix chicken fillets and turmeric powder and fry well. When serving, arrange chicken fillets round the dish and garnish with saffroned rice as well as slivered pistachio on top. Serve hot. Bon appetit!
