Cohen family:

Arthur Cohen (1830-1914), the son of Benjamin Cohen and nephew Sir Moses and Abraham Montefiore, was born in London and educated at Cambridge Madeleine College and later completed a law degree from Cambridge University authorities. In 1874, he became adviser of Queen Victoria and became representative in the House of Commons from 1880 to 1887 and during the reign of Edward VII, he was z member of Private Advisory Council of the king of England. In the years 1874-1894, he was in charge "representatives of the Jewish Community Council of Great Britain" after Moses Montefiore.
His son, Sir Benjamin Arthur Cohen (1862-1942), an English Jew, was also one of prominent Jewish English figures and his daughter married to Sir Thomas Ferguson (1865-1951). Today, Ferguson family name is on the Group companies "Massey Ferguson" that are from the major industrial complexes belonging to contemporary plutocracy.
Lionel Lewis Cohen (1832-1887), MP, and his brother, Sir Benjamin Louis Cohen (1844-1909), Baronet and MP, are grandchildren of Joseph Cohen and the brother of Nathan Rothschild's wife:
Lionel Lewis Cohen, director of the London Stock Exchange, was a close friend of Lord Nathaniel Rothschild and Lord Randolph Churchill, from political and financial figures in the second half of the nineteenth century and he was one of the main investor in construction of railway networks in India and Egypt. In 1885, he was elected as the representative of the Conservative Party in the House of Commons and until the death he was one of the main financial characters in the British Parliament. In 1887, he established his "Jewish security guard office" and he was manager of it.
After the death of Lionel Cohen, his political and economic activities were followed by his brother, Sir Benjamin Cohen, and his son, Sir Lionel Leonard Cohen (1858-1938).
Son of Sir Benjamin Cohen, the second Baronet Sir Herbert Cohen (1874-1968), and his daughter, Hannah Cohen (1875-1946), were holders of "means of Great Britain Empire" who were of political and social activists of their time.
Sir Leonard Lionel Cohen's son, Baron Lionel Cohen (1888-?) was also from prominent figures in British politics. In 1929, he was a member of the Imperial Council and in 1946 he became a member of the Council of privatization advisers of the court of Great Britain. Lionel Cohen was from prominent judicial figures of Great Britain, and in 1950 he was the lord and in the years 1950-1961 he was a member of the British House of Lords as "lord Wilmer". His wife is the daughter of Isidore Spielmann.
Spielmann is from prominent Jewish families in England. Their ancestry roots in Adam Spielmann (1812-1869) who was currency exchange. He married the sister of Samuel Montagu. Sir Isadora Spielmann (1854-1925) is the result of this marriage. Isidore Spielmanna became a prominent activist in the field of art and antiques in England and was knighted in 1905.
Lord Cohen Wilmer has a son called Leonard Cohen (born in 1922). Leonard Cohen is a graduate of Eton College and New College, Oxford University, who was in board of directors of the company "M. Samuel" in the years 1961-1976, and later it was renamed to "Hill Samuel". Since 1976, he chaired "Jewish Colonial Association". Leonard Cohen has an honorary degree of colonel of the British army.
Sir Andrew Benjamin Cohen (1909-1968), grandson of Lionel Lewis Cohen and nephew of Sir Leonard Cohen, was from senior officials of the Ministry of the Colonies of Great Britain. In 1947, he became deputy head of the ministry and provided arrangements for independence of the colonies of Great Britain on the African continent. In the years 1952-1957, Sir Andrew Cohen was governor of Uganda and in 1961 he was at the head of newly created ministry of "overseas development". The ministry was dealing with former colonies affairs.
Sir Andrew Cohen's sister was named Ruth Cohen (1906-?) who was an eminent expert in Agricultural Economics of Britain. She continued her education in Nyunham Cambridge College and ended education in universities of Stanford and Cornell of America and in the years 1933-1939 she was as a researcher at the "Institute for Agricultural Economic Research" in University of Oxford. Then she taught in Nyunham College Cambridge and in 1954, she was the head of college. Ruth Cohen has writings on agricultural economics. She died in recent years.
One of the sisters of Lionel and Sir Benjamin Louis Cohen, was wife of Sir Joseph Sebag Montefiore and the other one married to Samuel Montagu (the first Lord Swaythling). Their little brother named Nathaniel Louis Cohen (1846-1913), married to daughter of Jacob Wally. Wally Cohen family is the fruit of this marriage. Colonel Jacob Wally Cohen (1874-1948), Sir Robert Wally Cohen (1877-1952) and Colonel Charles Wally Cohen (1879-1963) are the sons of Nathaniel Louis Cohen.
Sir Robert Wally Cohen was of the owners of British Industry and one of managers if Complex "Royal Dutch Shell". In 1901, he joined the company's board of Shell Company and by Sir Marcus Samuel (Lord Bersted), founder and president of the "Shell" company, he became negotiations official with the "Royal Dutch" company of Holland and was unity of two companies. These negotiations led to the establishment of the Supreme Petroleum Complex "Royal Dutch Shell". Sir Robert Wally Cohen played a vital role in management of the Complex; he helped a lot to provide required oil of allies in World War I and because of that he received "Knighthood" degree of Britain Empire.
He was from activists of British Jewish organizations and played an important role in the development of Zionism economic institutions in Palestine as president "of the Palestinian Economic Council" and "Corporation of Palestine". Haifa oil refinery was built on his initiative.
Sir Robert Wally Cohen has a son named Sir Bernard Wally Cohen (1914-?). In the years 1960-1961, he was the sheriff of London and in 1961 he achieved the rank of Baronet. Wife of Sir Bernard Wally Cohen is daughter of Lord Nathan is.

Worms family:

Under the authority of Nathan Rothschild in London, Benedict Worms, his sister's husband and his wife settled in the United Kingdom.
Benedict's three sons named Solomon (1801-1882), Gabriel (1802-1881) and Maurice Benedict Worms (1806-1867) founded the largest and best equipped tea plantations in Ceylon Island in the first half of the nineteenth century that was known as "Rothschild Real".
Austrian court awarded "Baron" to Worms Solomon in 1871 and the British court allowed him to use the nickname in the UK as well. His older son, Baron George Benedict De Worms (1829-1912), was vice-president "Royal Society of Literature" Great Britain in the years 1896-1900. His other son, Henry Benedict De Worms (1840-1903), was known as Lord Pirbrigth, and he was MP in Conservative Party since 1880.
In 1885, Lord Pirbrigth in the first government of Lord Salisbury, was in position of the parliamentary secretary of "Chamber of Commerce" in Britain and in 1888, he became a member of the Queen's private advisers council. In the years 1888-1892 he was deputy minister of colonies of Great Britain. He was also a member of the Royal Society and the author of numerous books, including in the field of the British policy in the East. It is said that the book had a great fame for him as a political thinker and opened the way for him to develop in governmental system of England.

Salomon family:

Sir David Salomon (1797-1873), who married the granddaughter of Levi Barnert Cohen, was the first Jewish mayor of London. He is the son of Levi Salomon that is considered as prominent money changers and merchants in London.
In 1823, David Salomon joined the London Stock Exchange and in 1834, he was a member of board of the Lloyd's insurance complex. In 1832, along with other partners, He founded "Bank of London and Westminster" and thus he was one of the first Jews who participated in the establishment of joint-stock banks in England. In the years 1835 and 1847 he was appointed as chief of neighborhoods of London and finally in 1855 he was the mayor of London. David Salomon was MP from 1859 until the end his life and he became baronet in 1869.
His nephew, Sir David Lionel Salomon (1851-1925), was a leading figure in the British automobile industry and the electronics.

Mocatta family:

Mocatta family is originally from Spain Maranos, who first settled in the Netherlands and Brazil and they settled in the UK in the late seventeenth century.
Abraham Mocatta stayed in Brazil of Netherlands with a group of Jews such as David Senior Coronel, Abraham de Mercando, Jacob Mocatta and Isaac Castanho-. They were considered as Plant owners and sugar producers. Abraham Mocatta moved to London and in partnership with Usher Goldsmid, the son of Aaron Goldsmid, established the company of "Mocatta and Goldsmid".One of the beneficial issues of the Institute was providing silver and gold bullion for "Bank of England". Abraham Mocatta had eleven children one of whom is the mother of the Moses Montefiore.
One of the sons of Abraham called Rabbi Moses Mocatta (1768-1857) was uncle and teacher of Moses Montefiore, and was engaged in cultural and religious activities and was one of primarily cultural and scientific figures of Jews in British. He is the author of a book called "Inquisition and Judaism" (1845) which played a serious role in the development of conventional false image of "oppressions" of Spanish Inquisition for Jews. Moses Mocatta was one of the 12 Jewish bankers in the London Stock Exchange since September 1806.
One of the sons of Moses Mocatta, David Mocatta (1806-1882) was architect who built railway stations of the London-Brighton line. Moses Mocatta's other sons were also from prominent Jewish figures in English. Frederick David Mocatta (1824-1905), was a prominent English Jew in the second half of the nineteenth century who had been working on cultural and religious affairs. He had writings on Jewish history and is author of "Jews and the Inquisition" (1887).
Of late figures of this House we can pointe out: Sir Alan Abraham Mocatta (1907-?) that was prominent Jewish Rabbi in the twentieth century.
