Strategy of Zionist movement in the region is a continuing aggression and expansionism and inseparable strategy from imperialism of the West in the Middle East which reflects expansive seeking and invader nature of it for the role it has from imperialism side in the Middle East as the operating factor of their sinister objectives and plans in the region.
The Zionist entity since the beginning of its establishment is commissioned that on behalf of imperialism and in frames of imperialist countries'' policies of the West act against the Arab liberation movements. Plundering of the oil wealth of the region and screwing exclusive national liberation movement and preventing the realization of national and ethnic aspirations of Arab masses and making Arabic countries busy and banning ensuring conditions that these countries could regain their health and operate their wealth and resources in favor of the social and economic development of the people. Also harness of all efforts for change in the region and controlling the flow of events and all Arabic countries giving up their demand and full domination of imperialism the over entire region are the aims of this strategy. In addition, for the Zionist entity can play its role as the bandit against the Arab national liberation movement, all life needs are at their disposal from the imperialist side so that by the great powers that it obtains, it becomes as a big camp and the most modern weapons of destruction have been provided for them; this action has been made in terms of the so-called policy of "climate balance".
The principles of the Zionist strategy in 1897, in the first Zionist Conference in Basel in Switzerland, were managed by help of the British government. The decisions of the conference are named by "protocols of wing" or "wing plans", and they are also known as "Protocols of the Elders of Zion". The program involves the following materials:
1. Encourage of farmers and artisans to settle in Palestine.
2. Reinforce and celebrating the Jewish nationalistic ideas.
3. The use of primary projects to achieve governments' approval in appropriate time and in order to achieve the goals of Zionism.
The strategy from the beginning has been established according to aggression on Palestinian neighboring countries including Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. In connection with the Jordan, in a memo that the International Zionist Organization sent to the Supreme Council of the Paris Peace Conference on third of February 1919, the eastern borders of Palestine were expressed in this way:
In the East, a line parallel to the Hejaz Railway and the West leads to the Gulf of Aqaba.
Then they added the note:
Fertile plains located in East Jordan, from the oldest periods of the Torah, economically and politically have been linked to the land located in West River.
Jabotinski, a branch of the Zionist leadership, says in this regard:
The aim of political Zionism is turning the land of Israel including East Jordan into a Jewish commonwealth location, which has fixed local government and the majority population.
He also announced:
Meaning of the Zionist settlement is that it finally leads to creation of a Jewish majority in East Jordan and Palestine. For this reason, this settlement is a quick settlement that does not is a normal colonization, but is unique in its kind.
Jabotinski in explaining the objectives of the Zionists in East Jordan, in one of his poems says:
Jordan has two banks, this one is for us; and the other one is ours as well;
With regard to Lebanon the Zionist movement also since the beginning of its existence made attempts to fulfill the dreams of Herzl spoken about in his book "The New Land - old the land"
In this book he demands the incorporation of lands with water on a piece of land that is the Zionists' aim to create a "Jewish homeland" in it and "providing critical area of colonial activities".
Frishfaser Raanan in his book called "the boundaries of the nation" summarized the Zionist expansionist plans of water resources areas bordering Palestine as follows: As the objective of the Zionist organization was gathering a large number of Jews in a land with an limited area, it is necessary to produce extensive irrigation projects. Because water resources are limited in Palestine, so projects are developed to encompass lands located in north and north-eastern areas of Palestine to be linked to the Litani river and Jordan's sources and the snow of "Hermon" and "Yarmuk". In addition, because the country is poor in terms of coal and oil, in industrial projects we can rely on generation of electricity provided from the "Litani" and "Yarmuk".
Yantayel Lortesh , military Israeli historian, said:
Zionist leaders' attention after 1948, once again was attracted to the creation of the Jewish colonies on the northern borders of Lebanon.
During the first Arabs - Israel (1948) war, Israeli forces invaded a Lebanese position called al-Malekiya. Al-Malikiya is a Lebanese village located at the crossroads of Palestine - Lebanon in the middle part of Lebanon front. Israelis occupied this position in the nineteenth May 1948
After 1973, Lebanon witnessed expand of Israeli scope of aggression operations including aerial bombardments commando and deep airborne operations in country and invading populated areas and bombing economic facilities. The fiercest and most prominent of these violations is war known as the fifth Arab-Israeli war, and it was when the Israeli forces occupied southern Lebanon up to the Litani suburbs in March 1978.
In regard to Syria, the Golan Heights was in greed targets of Zionism as southern Lebanon and the West Bank, Jordan and Palestine. In 1921, the American Zionist writer, Horace Meir Galleon, wrote in his book "Zionism and world politics":
The future of all of Palestine is in hands of a country which has expanded its dominance over the Litani River and Yarmouk and Jordan rivers' sources.
Golda Meir (Prime Minister) said in an interview that was broadcasted on Israeli radio:
Golan is an integral part of the Land of Israel.
On 24 /02/1974, three leaders of the ruling Workers' Party (Golda Meir, Dayan and Allon) announced in a meeting:
Quneitra and Golan's nomadic areas will remain in control of Israel.
Ben-Gurion clearly says:
It is not supposed to maintain the present status. We have to create a vibrant state, which expands.
In implementing the strategic goals of Zionism, the military tools played an important role. The use of the tools, despite the expectations of some people, does not return to the events of 1948, but this problem dominated the Zionist strategy's ideas and thoughts from the inception of Zionism movement.
The idea of creating Jewish armed force dates back to 1870, the year in which the Zionist movement began the influx to settle in Palestine seriously, and attackers were deployed in colonies that they had formed. Finally, in 1907, the first armed force called “patrol of Jew – Hashomer organization" was established.
1. Hashomer = small guard
Jews who created colony of "Betah Tekfa" in 1878, were the first dawn of the use of weapons in order to fulfill the first plan of the influx plans to settle. Of the greatest Hungarian Zionist leaders we can name Joshua Astamyr that set a special system for night guard in all colonial areas to deal with sudden raids. It is noteworthy that the early Jewish immigrants and those who emigrated between 1870 and 1880, were unaware in many matters relating to agriculture and war and the Arabs called them "dead's child". In fact, a large part of them were encouraged to settle in Palestine only with religious motives.
In the colony of "Shajareh" in Galilee, the Zionist movement was formed with the departure of Ben Gurion and or the army to there.
Various aspects of Hashomer ideology besides some proposals in 1912 as a way of support Bischoff, was based on the following points:
1. Hashomer's role was not only an increase of material support for Jewish settlements, but he has to try to enhance the sense of responsibility in defense of individual residents.
2. Expand of the military cores that are able to develop the scope of the defending duties of the Jewish community.
3. Hashomer has to allocate the right to oversee the defense of the Jewish community in Palestine.
4. According to the above-mentioned reasons, Hashomer is in charge to act such a "professional armed force" in defense of Bischoff.
In World War I, Great Britain formed a Jewish Brigade. Battalions 38 (the first Jewish fighting force), 39 and 40 participated in this war. In 1919 soldiers were up to 5,000 who raised the Zionist flag and sang the Zionist anthem.
2. Haganah
Haganah was formed after the dissolution of the "Hashomer" in May 1920 which was no longer able to control the Arab raids. Thus, Vladimir Jabotinsky, since the December 1919 attempted to form military force which later became known as Haganah (or Defence Forces). Haganah was made of remainders of the Jewish volunteers who were member of the mentioned battalions. At that time, the Palestinian people's resistance began as a group of Palestinian guerrillas raided to four Jewish settlements in Upper Galilee - the Almotaleh, Tel Al-Hayat, al-Hamra and Kafr Gilead. In addition, they also carried out other attacks by which dozens of Israelis were killed. Thus, the unrest in the first place found a political nature because the Zionist aims were revealing in Palestine.
Zionists believed that Jews should take up arms for achieving the goals of Zionism. Because of this, they seek to promote their ideology among Jewish youth of Palestine.
In 1936, mandate government in Palestine (England) use some members of the Haganah in Palestine Police Force and armed them. At the beginning of World War II, the number of trained Zionist Jews in Palestine was close to 15,000 people. During the wars, the Haganah with the Middle East Great commandership of Britain reached a common treaty that involved equipping the Haganah groups with weapons and guerrilla warfare training to them. Great Britain created a secret training school in Jardieh in the southeast of Haifa, and captain Averdi Vangit, who was Great Britain's officer, collaborated with Haganah's intelligence officers in the field of forming special night bundles, known as (SN S). The organization was responsible for Palestinian youth training for destroying Arabic resistance centers and the establishment of Jewish army cores. Among the many volunteers who later became senior officers of the Israel Defense Army, figures such as Gen. Moshe Dayan, former Defense Minister, and Eagul Allon, the Israeli foreign minister can be seen.
Ben Gurion in September 1938 asked for a series of changes in Haganah strategy and raised following requests from Haganah leaders:
1. Avoiding constant defense mode and transition it to deal with the enemy mode in the most distant targets and the nearest places to his bases.
2. Forming an army that can resist the Arabic military armies.
3. Creating a munitions factory better than the current inadequate organization.
4. Having heavy weapons.
Besides, Israeli intelligence community was formed in the 1930s by a handful of committed volunteers working for the militia of the Haganah in Palestine under the tutelage of Great Britain. Today, altogether Israel Defense Forces intelligence branch (Aman = acronym for the Hebrew phrase "military intelligence branches"), Mossad and Shin Bet have employed thousands of people and annually spend hundreds of millions of dollars to defend Israel against its enemies, and to achieve their secrets and penetrate in their officials.
