Looking at the phenomenon of Zionism and apartheid
In the aftermath of World War II, the world witnessed the collapse and disintegration of colonial empires. During this period, many countries and nations under the yoke of colonialism achieve independence under long struggle. Colonial states, according to the urgent need to the Third World raw materials, certainly do not give up their interests so soon and will demand continue domination of the societies. According to this they would try to dominate them in terms of economy or make them engaged in military issues and internal regional conflicts. One of the important issues is writing the history of these newly independent countries by the colonial governments. In new colonial historiography they try to adjust their past disasters, and again continue to loot others and try to acquit contemporary imperialist powers in the past and legitimate the past lootings.
In defining the goals of historiography, neo - colonial, Philip Mason, who still uses nicknamed F, Wood Roof, former High Commissioner of India, writes: how much it is important for the Western powers to have victory over the minds of men that have lived in past colonies.
Imperialist thinkers complain that it is experience of people in newly free countries from past that makes them show disinterest towards the West, under the title of neo - colonialism.
President Martley declares his sorrow:
In Western Europe, from where most of the colonists came, a whole generation was under conditions that they knew imperialism as a shameful spot on their history, such a shameful spot that needs to be cleansed in the first opportunity. Hence, the colonists, even before their modernization Board carried out the work, were forced to withdraw.
Of course, devise of neo-colonial historiography is to serve the demands of the policy of the imperialist countries. Imperial historians are aware of the hatred of the people of Asia and Africa towards old colonialism, and since they know everything well, they are trying to "separate" it from contemporary politics of colonial powers.
Colonial powers' Help to establish regimes like Zionism in Palestine and the apartheid regime in South Africa is in direction of the colonial countries' purposes from two aspects:
They were used as a base.
They were used as an intellectual diversion of imperialism-dominated countries to Zionism and apartheid and colonialists introduced themselves as mediator. In the case of Palestine, the Arabs always went to England and then to America to solve their internal problems and yet colonial historians were trying to justify Zionism and apartheid and in case of the Zionism, they were trying to prove to the world that:
Israel's culture is the only culture in the Middle East who managed to stay immortal out of all other cultures of Eastern people and as ancient Greek culture in the West, it forms foundation of all the Eastern cultures.
Tribes of Israel are the only people that with a higher level of civilization have been able to continue life out of the Eastern people by retaining their dedicated features.
Israelis were the first people who started writing history from ten to eight century BC and have left information about civilization and world around them such as Assyrians and Babylonians.
Tribes of Israel were the only people who discovered for vision of "the Lord" for themselves. In this regard, one of the leaders of Zionism, Wiseman, says:
Rights that have been awarded to Jewish people in Palestine does not depend on the will and desire of the current majority of its residents.
Today, even by simple investigating we can evaluate impact of inherited culture of Jews in all fields of science, literature and music properly...and etc.....
Perhaps it is not surprising that all of these have been associated with the maximizing Israel's knowledge, misinterpretation of facts, and with sermon that Israel, especially in the relationship between their current situation and Arab countries plays the role of a "civilized" against "reactionary".
