In the ancient times, there was an old woman whose husband had died and she was living with seven daughters of marriageable in a house near the city. The smallest daughter named as Namaki was most beautiful one of them. This house had seven doors and every night one of the girls in turn should close the doors. One time when Namaki was to close the doors she closed six of them and due to her laziness did not close one of the. She did not know importance this matter and thought that they had no important things to be stolen and everyone around them knew this fact. She also preferred that a man took her. So she did not close the door and went and slept.
At the midnight, the widow became awakened due to snoring sound. So far no one of the daughters had no snoring sound. So he looked carefully around and suddenly saw a big demon was sitting in a corner. She understood that Namaki had not closed all the seven doors and this demon was able to come in. She began to swear Namaki saying that at last this confused girl did what should not be done. When she saw the demon she began to tremble and did not dare to say anything. She repeatedly was going this way and that. The demon was bored and shouted: "I am your guest. Don't you have any place for a guest?"
Namaki's mother while was protestin Namaki in not closing the door, called her to open the door of the room for the demon. Namaki who was frightened opened the door and took the demon into the room and immediately returned back and slept in her bed. Suddenly the demon roared that he was their guest and wanted to be served to eat food. Namaki's mother wanted Namaki to cook dinner for the demon.
Namaki was surprised and impatient and at late night went and cooked fried egg and took it with bread and water to the demon. The demon ate it rapidly and shouted that he was their guest and wanted a bed to sleep. Namaki's mother said Namaki that she was guilty and so she should get the bed of the demon ready. Namaki, being tearful and sad, stood up to spread the mattresses of her mother, kept clean and new for guests, for the demon. After elapsing one hour, the demon picked up Namaki and put her into a bag and carried the bag on his back and went out. Namaki had not predicted this, so she had no way but being waited. After going a fter going a distance, Namaki wanted the demon to put her down for going to the toilet. The demon put her down. She went a corner pretending going WC and using the darkness, in concealment took some big stones and put them into the bag and then slowly went a corner and hid. The demon hit his hand to the bag and felt that the bag had become heavy and thought that Namaki had returned back. Thus he lifted the bag on his back and roared and went to the air. As he was going upwards, he felt that the bag had become heavier. He faced back and asked why she had become heavier, but he did not hear any voice from the bag. He noticed that the little girl had cheated him. Immediately he turned back and came to the same place he had put the back down. Looked around him but did not see the girl. He smelled everywhere and found her on a tree. Take her and put in the bag and fastened it tightly and went by the bag into the sky. After some time he landed and opened the bag and took the girl out of it.
Namaki was on a mountain and saw a palace that no human being had seen beforehand like it even in dream. The demon invited her to show her the palace well. The demon picked a bunch of keys from his winding horn and took Namaki and showed her the rooms one by one. She had become so glad since she was watching what each girl aspired including jewelry and clothes and food. He showed her all the rooms except two rooms. She insisted him to show her those two too, but he did not agree. At last he said her if she had compatibility with him being a good girl, what she had seen would be hers, otherwise she would be killed. Namaki was really feared, but thought that she should be wise to become his wife and had a common happy life with him.
The demon was happy of this marriage. Namaki was passing her life but could not expel the thought of those two closed rooms from her head. She was planning to get rid of the demon. The same day the demon said that demons ate seven days continuously and then slept seven days continuously and at that time he should sleep. He seated Namaki and put his head on her knees and slept. When he was asleep, Namaki thought that interval was a proper time to do something to escape.
She slowly put the demon' head down and picked the bunch of keys from his horn and stood up. She opened doors of the room and at first enjoyed from their jewelry but very soon remembered those closed doors. By testing the keys she eventually opened the first room and saw unexpectedly some very beautiful girls being jailed in chain by the demon. She understood what being to occur for her in future. The crying girls asked Namaki how she had come to that palace and Namaki told them her story. The girls said that each one was a princess to whom the demon fell in love and since they had not agree to be his wife the demon had prisoned them. Namaki opened their chains and said them that the demon had slept for a week and they had to reach themselves to a safe place during that interval. But the shaking girls said their homes were very far from there and they were afraid of not being successful and even to be killed.
When Namaki saw that they were being feared, she decided to find a way. She looked at around herself and saw a dog tied by chain. She opened the chain from the neck of the dog. At that time seemingly something burst and a beautiful young man came out of the skin of the dog. The girls were surprised. The young man who was watching their surprise began to tell them his story. He said that he was the king's son and the king dah built for his seven sons seven palaces and his palace had seven doors and he had put for each door a guard having sword. At a night the seventh guard fell in sleep and that demon came in and brought him to this palace and began to beat him severely and when he asked the demon why he beat the prince the demon answered that he had been foretold as the murderer of the demon and he wanted to kill the prince. After beating him, the demon conjured the prince as a dog and now he knew that he would be alive only a few days.
As Namaki listened to what the prince said, she feared and was worried. But the prince said her there was a crystal pool in the next room in which there existed a red fish in the stomach of which was the life bottle of the demon. Namaki said that she had the key of that room too. The prince became very glad and wanted her to hurry.
As soon as possible, Namaki opened the door. The prince went in and wanted to take the fish by his hand, but the fish escaped. He tried again and again and at last he caught the fish and tore its stomach and took out the life bottle of the demon. Just at this time the demon woke up frightened and ran toward the prince. When the demon noticed that his life bottle was in the hand of the prince remembered what had been foretold beforehand and began to beg the prince to return the bottle back to its place and instead he would give the prince what he wished. The prince said at first he must took those girls back to their homes. The demon did immediately so. After that the prince broke the bottle without any delay and the demon became smoke rising upwards.
The prince went toward Namaki and said that he had fallen in her love and wanted her to accompany him in going to his city and visiting his parents, the king and the queen. Namaki agreed but said at first she should go to her mother and six sisters to inform them. The prince accepted and accompanied Namaki. When they reached the home of Namaki, her mother and sisters became so happy and she told them her story.
The prince took Namaki's mother and sisters with him and Namaki. They went and went up to the city of the prince. There they saw the people were wearing black. The prince realized that that mourning was for the two years absence of him. So he wanted someone to inform the king the arrival of his son.
The king and the authority were informed and the whole city became delighted. The prince went to the court of the king and kissed the ground and the king embraced his son. The king ordered to decorate the city and wanted the people to take off their black clothes. The prince took Namaki and her family to the harem and told there what happened to him and how Namaki saved him. When the king knew Namaki and her sisters ordered his seven sons to marry with Namaki and her sisters. This time there was a great celebration in the city for seven nights and seven days. At the seventh night each couple went to their dedicated palace and kept their common happy life. Namaki's mother too went every day of the week to the home of one of her daughters.
