The worst and the best limbs
Luqman the Wise was black. So, someone engaged him as a servant for a while. During his serve, he tried to learn by looking at works of knowledge and wisdom. Once, his master wanted to test him. So he said Luqman: "Kill a sheep and bring me the best limbs of it." Luqman killed a sheep and took its heart and tongue to his master.
In another day the master wanted Luqman to kill a sheep and to bring him the worst limbs of it. Luqman killed another sheep and again took its heart and tongue to his master. The master surprised and asked him why the same things in both the cases. Luqman said: "Nothing will be better than heart and tongue if they are clean, and nothing will be worse than them if they are unclean."
A good but empty house
Aristotle was going on a path. A very beautiful young man came to him. Aristotle asked him a question. The young man answered foolishly. Aristotle said he would be a good house if anyone was living in it.
Words of wisdom
Hippocrates was speaking in knowledge. An unwise man began to oppose him and said him that people would not agree him in that matter. Hippocrates replied: "Speech must be right in itself. I am not to make people to accept it from me."
Foresight rules
Once upon a time, a king had a scientist servant. One morning in spring, when horses had plenty grass to eat, the king wanted his scientist servant to accompany him in his horse riding. When the servant was riding the horse given to him, the horse began to so much dunging. The king noticed that the scientist was upset for this. So, to make a better atmosphere wanted the scientist servant to tell him about the rules for accompanying the kings. The servant said the king that one of these rules was that the horse of the one who was to accompany the king should not be fed as plentiful the night before as causing it to dung so much.
I have some money
A rich man said a wise man: "I have some money and I want to give it to you. What have I do?" The wise man answered: "If you give me it, it will be better for you, and if you don't give me it, it will be better for me." (that is, if you give me it, you will have done a favor for me that I should be thankful, and if you don't give me it, I won't have to be thankful necessarily.)
Medicine in Quran
A Jew said to a medicine man: "God has stated in what has revealed to Mohammad that there is no wet or dry thing in the world unless it has been mentioned in Quran. Now let me know where to medicine is mentioned in Quran." The medicine man answered: "Where it has ordered to eat and drink but without any lavish. In fact eating too much is the source of any illness."

A wise man was questioned: "When is the time foe eating?" He answered: "For the rich, when they are hungry, and for the poor, when they find food."
What drinks brain
A wise man did not drink wine. When he was questioned its why, he replied: "I don't drink something that drinks my brain."
Keep your wits
One of the great men of Arab was asked: "Why don't you drink wine at all?" he answered: "I think it is bad that while in the morning I am the sir of my people, in the evening I become a stupid man of them, since drunken state will ends to stupidity."
