There was one and there wasn't another one! There was no other than God! There was a poor old man who had three so beautiful daughters. He lived in a village with these daughters. One day the daughters said: "O dear father! Please purchase dress for us. Our neighbor has wedding party and we want to take part in it."
The old man asked each of them what type of dress she liked to have. The oldest daughter wanted veil and the middle aged daughter wanted shirt and the youngest daughter wanted a pair of shoes. The old man had no sufficient money and so became sad. He took the little money he had saved and set off toward the city.
During his trip, when he had become tired, on his way he sat at the coast of a river under a tree to rest. He again remembered that he had no money to purchase clothing for his daughters. He sighed due to sadness. At that moment, suddenly the water surface of the river was upraised and a big demon came out of water. The old man feared. The demon said: "Why did you call me?" The old man who had become surprised said: "But I did not call you!"
The demon said: "My name is Sigh. You sighed and so I came. Now say to me whatever you want."
The old man said: "I am going to the city in order to buy clothing for my daughters, but I have no sufficient money." The demon said: "I will give you money in order that you can buy whatever you want, but instead of this act you should give me one of your daughters."
The old man accepted his offer. The demon gave him some gold coins and said to him: "Take these dates too and put them in your pocket. When you come back from the market, drop the seeds of the dates onto the ground. I will find your home through the dropped seeds."
The demon, on precaution, put a pellet of fire among the dates in order that if the old man would not eat the dates, the fire would make a hole in his pocket and afterwards the dates would drop onto the ground through that hole and afterwards the demon could find the home of the old man.
The old man said goodbye to the demon and went to the city. He bought things that the daughters had wanted and then returned to the home, but said nothing to the daughters about the demon and his conditions. In the next morning, whatever the demon waited, no news was from the old man. So, in the evening he followed the seeds of the dates up to the home of the old man. When he knocked the door of the old man's home, the oldest daughter opened the door and by seeing the demon she feared and returned to her father and said: "A demon has come and wants to visit to you."
The old man came and saw that it was the same Sigh. Sigh said to him: "You had promised me, hadn't you?" The old man replied: "Yes. And I am steel on my promise." The old man said this and returned and said to his oldest daughter: "You must marry with this demon."
The daughter noticed that she should obey the order of her father and had any other way. Inevitably said goodbye to everyone and accompanied the demon. They went and went until when ther reach the beach of a river. The demon said: "Ride on back of me and close your eyes. Only whenever I wanted you should open your eyes. You should do nothing before I want you to do."
The girl rode on the back of the demon and closed her eyes. The demon jumped onto the middle of the river. They went and went until they reached the demon's castle. The demon said: "Now, open your eyes."
The girl noticed that they are in a very big castle. At night the demon said: "I have cooked consommé. Spread the tablecloth and bring the food."
The girl spread the tablecloth and brought the food, but by eating the first bit o the food she noticed that the food had been cooked by using the meat of human being in it. So she did not continue eating it and said: "I don't eat because it is from the meat of human being." The demon said: "You must eat it, otherwise I changed you to stone."
Whatever the demon insisted, the girl did not continue eating. The demon got angry and took the hand of the girl and took her into a room and changed her to stone.
After elapsing a week, the demon came at the door of the old man's home. He knocked the door. The old man opened the door. The demon said: "Your daughter is alone. I want to take one of her sisters in order that she will not be alone."
The old man accepted the offer of the demon and the middle – aged daughter put on gladly her new clothes and went with the demon. Like the case of the oldest daughter, the demon took her too through the river to the castle. At the noon the demon said: "I have cooked meat. Stand up and spread the tablecloth and bring the food." The girl made ready the lunch, but by eating the first bit of food she realized that the food is from the meat of human being. So she began to cry. The demon said: "You must eat this food, otherwise I will change you to stone as I did so about your sister."
The girl did not agree and did not keep eating but kept crying and shedding tears. At last the demon got angry and stood up and took that girl too to the same big room and changed her to stone too, just like a stone statue.
After a week, the demon, in the early morning, went at the door of the old man's home again. When the door became opened, the demon said to the old man: "Your daughters are unrest. I have come to take their sister in order that they will be happy and restful more." The old man said: "It was better that you brought at least one of them and took this end one instead." The demon said: "In the next time I will bring back both of them."
The third daughter, whose name was Jeiran, got ready and went with the demon. They went and went up to the river. The demon said her: "Ride on back of me and close your eyes and when I asked you open your eyes." Jeiran did so and eventually they reached to the demon's castle.
Jeiran noticed their sisters were not there. So she said to the demon: "Where are my daughters?" The demon told her the entire story. Jeiran began crying and contrary to the insistence of the demon she kept her crying. At last the demon was bored and stood up and left the castle.
Jeiran cried so much and afterwards sat thinking herself. She was thinking about finding a way to save herself, since otherwise she would be changed by the demon into stone like her sisters.
Jeiran got out of the castle in secret. She saw an old woman shepherd was wandering about there. Jeiran went to her and asked: "Do you know the owner of this castle?"
The old woman nodded and answered: "Yes. His name is Sigh and his food is the meat of human being."
Jeiran told her the story of her two sisters. The old woman said: "I instruct you a way that the demon could not change you into stone." Jeiran said: "What should I do?" The old woman said: "I have a cat. I will give it to you. Sew a sack and hang it over your neck. There should be a hole at the bottom of the sack. When the demon asks you to eat from these meats you should bring the bit of food close to your mouth and then drop it to the sack. The bit will drop onto the ground through the hole at the bottom of the sack. You should give the dropped bit of food to the cat in secret. You can save yourself in this manner."
Jeiran got glad. She thanked the old woman and picked up the cat and returned back to the castle. At the noon, when the demon came, he said: "Hurry! Make the lunch ready."
Jeiran spread the tablecloth. The demon said: "You should eat too." Jeiran picked up bits of food and as soon as a bit was dropped on the ground, she slowly in secret put it into the mouth of the cat by her other hand while pretending skillfully that she was eating. The demon was glad and said: "You are a wise girl. I will have nothing to do to you if you only cook food every day and eat with me and don't interfere in my work." Jeiran accepted this offer.
One week elapsed. The demon had found confidence to Jeiran.
One day after eating lunch, the demon said to Jeiran: "I should sleep. I will be asleep for seven years and after awaking I will be awake for the following next seven years." The demon put his head on the knees of Jeiran and slept.
After elapsing several hours, when Jeiran was sure that the demon was asleep completely and had no movement, she said to herself: "Now it is the best time to understand what the demon is doing."
The demon had tied the key category to his hair. Jeiran brought scissor and cut the hair of the demon and picked up the keys. She left the room gladly.
She opened the door of the first room. There was quite similar to a mercer shop. An old man was sitting there and crying. She asked: "What has happened? Why are you crying?"
The old man, while was surprising, said: "Who are you? Now the demon comes and will kill you." Jeiran replied: "Don't fear. Now tell me who you are."
The old man answered: "I am a mercer, and this demon has jailed me." Jeiran said: "If I save you, what do you give me?" The mercer said: "What type of cloth you want I will give you." Jeiran accepted and said: "I will take a few cloth rolls. Tomorrow, just at this time, I will free you."
Jeiran selected the rolls of cloth. The mercer cut them and gave them to Jeiran.
She opened the door of the second shop and saw that a man was sitting and tailoring. She asked him: "What are you doing here?" The tailor said: "The demon had brought me here. Are you able to save me?" Jeiran said: "If you sew this cloth for me, I will make you free tomorrow just at this time."
The tailor measured her sizes in order to make a dress for her. Then Jeiran left that shop too and closed its door.
In the next shop there was a carpenter. Jeiran asked: "Who had bought you here?" The carpenter said: "The demon." Jeiran said: "If you make a wooden suitcase for me, I will make you free from here." The carpenter accepted.
Jeiran closed the door and opened the door of the next shop. There, was a workshop for making felt in which an old man was working. Jeiran asked: "Why have you been brought here?" The old man answered: "The demon has captured me and takes from me whatever I earn." Jeiran said: "If you make a felt bag in which I can be placed, I will release you tomorrow just at this time." The old man accepted.
Jeiran closed the door and went to the next shop. It was a big jewelry shop in which a man was making golden things. Jeiran asked: "Why are you here?" The goldsmith answered: "I am captured by the demon and he took all of my jewelry." Jeiran said: "What will you give me back if I release you?" The jeweler said: "I give you from these gold and jewelry whatever you want." Jeiran picked up some sets of ruby and pearls and turquoise and necklace and said to the jeweler: "I will release you tomorrow just at this time." Then she closed the door.
Jeiran returned back to the room. The demon was asleep steel and was snoring. Jeiran knew that demons have life bottle. If she could break life bottle of the demon, he would die. She searched all corners of the castle. At last she found life bottle of the demon in a semi dark and humid room. She got so happy and said to herself: "Now is just the time of revenge."
Gladly she returned back to the room at the demon and took the life bottle over the demon's head and hit it strongly onto the paving of the floor. The bottle broke into bits and a blue smoke came out of it and gradually faded out in air. The demon roared loudly. He opened his eyes but could not get up and immediately died.
Jeiran hurried and opened the doors in which the humans had been chanced into stone. He saw that her sisters and the rest stone status had become live humans again. They embraced Jeiran so happily. Jeiran kissed both of her sisters and said to them: "Go to Father. I have some remained work to do yet. I'll come later."
In the next day, Jeiran took the keys and made all the men free according to her promise. Then she put the dress that the tailor had made and the jewelry that she had taken from jeweler into the wooden suitcase. Then she placed herself into the felt bag and closed the opening of the bag from inside in such a manner that other than a hole for mouth and two holes for eyes and two holes for the two legs, the bag had covered all other parts of her body.
Quietly she came out of the castle and went and went until when reached a city. The people saw that n, legs had emerged from a felt bag while it is slowly walking. They did not notice to it so much.
King's son had sat in the belvedere and was watching the city that suddenly noticed a strange bag was slowly going from a corner of the city toward an unknown place. He became surprised and came out and went toward the bag. He reached the bag and asked: "Who are you?"
Jeiran tried to change her voice and answered: "I am nobody." The king's son asked: "What do you know to do?" Jeiran replied: "I can only say to hens KISH KISH and to cats PISH PISH. Only this." The king's son laughed and said: "Come with me. I will take you to the corridor of the court and you should be guard there. Whenever cat wants to enter say to it PISH PISH and if hen wants to enter say to it KISH KISH." Jeiran accepted.
When they entered the corridor of the court, the mother and sister of the prince asked him what kind of creature it was that he had bought with himself. The king's son laughed and said: "It is a harmless creature. Let it guard here." They did not disagree.
Jeiran was keeping standing there motionless. A few days elapsed. One day the king's daughter had been invited for a wedding party. The girl had made ready herself and was combing her hair. Jeiran who was watching her went slowly toward her and tried to change her voice and said to the princess: "O dear madam! Please take me too to the wedding party with yourself."
The king's daughter hit by comb to the head of the bag and said: "The wedding party is not a place for a felt bag. Be silent."
Jeiran said nothing, but when the king's daughter went, immediately came out of the bag and went to the pool that was full of water and washed her completely. Then wore a red dress and ornamented herself by jewelry and completely made up herself and then went toward the wedding party.
When she reached there, she stood close to the window. The women saw that a red – worn so beautiful girl had come standing near the window. They requested her to come and sit near the princess.
One of the women asked her: "O dear lady! Where have come from?" Jeiran said: "From a city in which they hit by comb to the head of persons." Nobody understood what she was saying. Even the princess could not realize her intention.
When the joy and dancing finished, Jeiran earlier than the king's daughter returned back to the court and at once put their clothes in the suitcase and went into the felt bag.
The king's daughter came and told her mother about the very beautiful girl who had come to the wedding party. She said to her mother that the girl was very suitable for her brother as his wife. Jeiran heard this speech but said nothing.
Three days elapsed. Again the king's daughter was invited to another wedding party. The princess had gotten ready and wanted to go there. Again Jeiran said to her: "Dear lady! Take me too to the wedding party with yourself." The princess hit the nearby sweep to her head and said: "Be silent. I cannot take a felt bag to wedding party."
When the king's daughter went, Jeiran came out of the bag and went into the water pool and washed herself and afterwards made up herself completely and wore her white dress and ornamented herself by beautiful jewelry and went toward the wedding party. Again she stood near the window. As the women saw her they brought her in and again gave a seat near the princess to her.
A woman asked her: "O dear lady! Where have you come from?" Jeiran answered: "From a city in which they hit by sweep to the head of persons." Nobody understood what she is saying. After the feast, again she left there earlier than the princess.
The king's daughter too came back to the court and said to her mother: "O mother! A very beautiful girl had come to the wedding party. She is suitable for my brother as his wife. But she was saying things that nobody could understand her intention."
Three days elapsed. Again the king's daughter was invited to another wedding party. She got ready and wanted to go there that Jeiran changed her voice and said to her: "O dear lady! Please take me to the wedding party with yourself."
This time the king's daughter got furious so much and hit the head of Jeiran by her shoe and said: "Be silent. The felt bag have no place in wedding party." Jeiran said nothing.
When the king's daughter went, she came out of the bag and went into the pool and washed herself.
The king's son had noticed that some days the felt bag became empty the person inside it became absent. By chance, this time the prince saw Jeiran was coming out of the bag. When he saw that Jeiran was very beautiful, he fell in her love deeply, but said nothing and returned back to the court.
After washing herself, Jeiran wore a cyan dress and ornamented herself by cyan jewelry and went to the wedding party. As before, she stood near the window. The women took her close to the princess. After a while a person asked her: "Dear lady! Which city have you come from?" Jeiran answered: "From a city in which they hit the head by shoe." The women said: "It is strange. We don't know such a city." Again, the king's daughter understood nothing. This time too, Jeiran left there earlier than the princess and went to the court.
When the king's daughter came, she said to her mother: "A very beautiful girl had come to the wedding party, but unfortunately I did not understand she was from which city."
They were talking that the king's son came gladly in and said to her mother and sister: "Today I want you to know your future daughter – in – law." His mother and sister became glad. The king's son went toward the felt bag and said to it: "O girl! Come out." There was no voice from the bag. The prince repeated his speech again and again. But Jeiran did not answer.
The king's son took his sword and tore the felt bag and his mother and sister saw that a very beautiful gir came out of the bag. As soon as the king's daughter saw Jeiran she recognized her but she became unconscious.
The king's son said to Jeiran: "OK. O lady! Do you become my wife please?" Jeiran said: "Provided that you bring my old father and two sisters here. They have gotten so hard." Then he told them the story of her sisters and the demon. The king's son replied: "With perfect desire I'll do this."
Then the prince sent persons to bring them to the court. The prince and Jeiram married together by holding forty days and nights wedding celebration. They lived with each other for years happily.
Our story ended but the crow has not reached its nest yet.
There was one and there wasn't another one! There was no other than God! There was a poor old man who had three so beautiful daughters. He lived in a village with these daughters.
