BIOGRAPHY OF ABU REYHAN BIROUNI

He is an Iranian scientist who is very famous across the world. His works can be seen in various science fields. To be familiar with this noble man, we express the corners of his life.
He was born around 972 in KHARAZM city. From the very childhood, had a great curiosity and enthusiasm to study and showed indices of abundance. ABOUREIHAN became expert in various fields because he had intelligent masters. An influential professor called ABU NASR MANSUR IBN ALI, helped him a lot to learn mathematics.
After a reasonable period, he learnt wisdom and metaphysics from professor ABDOUL SAMAD HAKIM. Then by hard work could write the ASARUL BAGHIYEH book, when he was only 27 years old.
Eight years after the start of eleventh century, king SULTAN MAHMOUD GHAZNAVI attacked KHARAZM area and burnt all valuable books. During the invasion of king, his soldiers seized master ABOUREIHAN. SOLTAN, placed him under the most difficult conditions. Even his death sentence was confirmed. But KHAJE MEIMANDI requested king to release him. So our philosopher escaped certain death.
ABOUREIHAN invented and built a special timer in 1027. Very soon this timer was kept in central mosque of GHAZNEIN.
Due to the abundance of his travels around India with king, gained a lot of knowledge and experience and have mastered the SANSKERIT language. He was able to represent his marvelous book AL HEND, which is an epic in the year 1033.
Master BIROUNI discussed with numerous scholars and scientists. His most important debate was with ABOU ALI SINA. ABOUREIHAN objected some of the philosophical foundations of professor SINA.
After 13 years and that during the rule of SULTAN MASOUD returned home. His other important work is GHANOUN MASOUDI. He wrote this book in the year 1035 and presented to king MASOUD. Value of this book is so much. After writing this book, some professors compared him with Ptolemy. The said book is the encyclopedia of Astronomy.
ABOUREIHAN calculated the P number, measured the circumstance of earth. And constructed a geographical sphere. In addition to the above works, he wrote a book about geometry. In ALTAFHIM SANAAT book, he discussed about geometry, astronomy and sentiments of sky and earth. He wrote about the motion of the earth, its diameter, planets, their distances and ecliptic.
He wrote the ALJAMAHER book in the field of gems lapidary and mineral mapping.
ABOUREIHAN BIROUNI attained the highest level of knowledge.
After a lifetime of effort and at the age of 78 expired.
