Noor city, which used to be called Soldeh until only a few years ago, belongs to Rostamdar , a district between Rooyan and Mazandaran.
It has two cold and tropical parts with many blocks the most important of which is called Baladeh.

Tamishan Palace

It is located 5 km from Noor city and was built in the Pahlavi Era at the order of Ashraf (Mohammad Reza Shah’s sister). It now belongs to the veterans’ foundation. The expansive palace has a pool, stalls and a place for housing guardians.
Opposite the palace there is another large, beautiful building beside the shore of the Caspian Sea. It was used as the royal beach. It is outstanding in design and decoration and priceless as art and architecture.
  Noor’s tourist attractions

Alimalat Lake

It is located 8 km from Noor on the road to Chamestan, about 3 km from the main Noor-Chamestan road. In other words, it lies along the Noor-Chamestan road , in the southern part of the two-way road in Karegar Kala village.

Forest park of Kashpel

It is located in Chamestan town, Noor city, Mazandaran Province, 5.2 km from Chamestan. Kashpel is on the summer quarter path of Lavij. It extends north to the Noor-Chamestan road, south to Lavij Mountain and its spa, east to Chamestan’s forests, and west to Lavij Rood and the industrial town of Chamestan.
With an area of 21.7 hectares, its vegetation includes alder, Lerek alder, oak, maple , oak, hornbeam and ironwood.
Since there was ironstone in the river, there used to be furnaces for making metal pellets. Their remains exist now.
Chamestan’s municipality developed facilities like a mineral spa, sheltered benches, fences, stone stairs, a grocery store, a place where Kate Kebabi was served (a local dish made of rice and kebabs), a playground for kids, football pitch and volleyball court and public restrooms.
With the agreement of Sari’s natural resources administration and forests organization, a plan was handed over to the Chamestan municipality for exploitation management. Under it, the municipality will establish legal recreational facilities and take steps to plant trees with indigenous species.

Nima Yushij Tomb

In the mountainous summer village known as Yush, the rural district of Evaz Rood in Noor city, there is the house of the well-known Persian poet, Nima Yushij, built by his ancestor over 200 years ago. It boasts beautiful plaster molding and sash windows. It is also home to his tomb.

Holy Antoine church

The church is located in the coastline township of Hicussion, between Noor and Alamdeh cities in Mazandaran. It was built by Iran’s Catholic Armenians and its construction ended in 1974. The external walls are covered in cement and the interior ones in plaster. It has an octagonal ceiling; on some of its sides are clerestory windows to let light in.
The domelike ceiling has another small octagonal dome in the middle which is 1.5 meters high with 8 small clerestory windows.
There is a belfry in front of the entrance door which has a dome with 6 pillars.

Abpari waterfall

The fall is located 5 km from Noor city near Rooyan city. It is situated on one side of the road. The region is virgin and intact with trees standing close to each other. It is not much like a waterfall as the mountain’s rocks are massed on the high slope of the mountain as a result of landslides, and little water flows down through the rocks. The temperature is almost 10°C lower than Rooyan city. Forests grow in the low terrain and pine trees are seen in the heights.
