Among the common issues, between the philosophy and mysticism, which may be entered from mysticism in to the philosophy, is the comparison of the world and the human. Islamic philosophers and mystics believe that, we separate the man from rest of the world, then we try to compare them, we will find out that, whatever is available in the globe, can be found in the human too. Human has three stages of intellectual, example and material. Same cases are existed in the man too.
If this debate in mysticism is managed, then the desired outcome is much easier, because when the man passes through each rule, will be accumulated from all of them. Therefore, to compare two versions of world and man, the universe is called as macrocosm and human is called as microcosm. As sometimes, the globe is called as major world and human is called as minor world. And more than that, sometimes, man is called as great universe, because the globe is concentrated in man.
Ali IBN ABITALEB (AS), says: oh you man, you are the short version of the world, and all the citrus, materials and abstracts were kept in you. And more than that, you are the macrocosm. Your treatment is in you, and you can`t see it. And pain is from you, and you don’t know it. And you think you are a small body, while the world is complexed in you. In Islamic mysticism and on the basis of a selection which is presented in the universe, the explanation of the human universality is done, much stronger because except the God, mystics are dividing all materials of the universe in to the five parts. First part is about the characters of the God, and the second is mental world and the third is sample world which ends in the downward. And the fourth section is substance world, is the truth which covers all the previous sections and that is comprehensive man, who feels the God completely and he is the perfect man. EBN ARABI is expressing this matter and says: God has two hands which are determination of rights for the world and man is the interpretation of these two hands and two forms.
God has honored the man and asked the Satan: what prevented you no to bow in front of the man, whom I made with my both hands?
And that is comprehensive truth between faces of worlds (fagot truth) and face of the right (divine truth) and these are the two hands of the God (and man was created with these two hands).
on analyze of human integrity issue, on the perspective of spiritual principles, we can say: the perfect man is the embodies of the comprehensive name of God, and as this name has complete integrity and control, over all the names, his epitome will be so, as we have presented some discussions regarding the determination of the second, we declared two main issues in determination of the second, the first is arrangement of names which starts from the name of ALLAH, and then goes to the names of four, seven and then to infinity. In this structure, a perfect man is the appearance and proof of comprehensive name of God. In other words, it is united with the said name and allies with his perfection, but lower in divinity and management (we have to mention that, we discuss about description of the God and not the natural which no one has access to him.
According to this analyze, human being has collective position and in coordination with mystics, we have to say: man is right and also is creature, the human is compulsory as well as possibility.
With our explanation about integrity of man, we established the foundation of mystical anthropology, but we should clearly mention that we have discussed and discussed is potentially about active and perfect creature.
Caliphate of human: Caliphate and vicarious of human through God, is the main issue in religious cognition and also in mystical discussions. This caliphate is sometimes in the form of appearance, legislation, regulation and governance and sometimes in the form of esoteric and development. There caliphate is of two kinds: legislative caliphate and developmental caliphate. However on the basis of Islamic teachings, legislative caliphate has strong and inseparable relationship with developmental caliphate and rooted in it. But in this kind of debate, the main concern is centered on the development and esoteric caliphate.
In developmental caliphate, just like the legislative caliphate, there are 3 sides: the first one is caliphate, the second one is successor and third is, those person whom, caliph will rule upon them. Therefore in developmental caliphate which has 3 angles, the first angle is God, the second angle is the man, who is caliph of God, and third angle is the people, whom a man as caliph will rule upon them.
Therefore man is the middle between right and creature and has truth inferno, and is related with God from one side and from other side is related with creatures.
In the first side, and in relationship of caliph and God, what brain and nature accepts, and wisdom demands, caliph and successor should possess the characteristics of God, with attention to what we have discussed about integrity of human, the man has eligibility, to become caliph of God.
IBN ARABI says: the man is right (in case of his nature, has the qualities of the right, and also because of his appearance, has right characteristics). There his grade is collective and because of this character has the right to be caliph.
Thus, as the man is the appearance of the collective name of God, is having permission from the God to be caliph, and when God announced to the angels, do you want a Caliph? Angles protested about this matter and said: we are Superior, than men.
Angles said to God: are you selecting the man as successor who does the corruption and the murder on the earth? While we are praying and praising you, In reply the almighty God say: I have taught the man, all the names.
So far, we have discussed about the caliphate of man through God, and we evaluated the competency of the man in this respect. And the other issue is about the creatures, whom man rules upon them. in the collective name of Allah, which is the beginning of God names, and all the world is managed by this name, a perfect human, who is appearance of this name, is having right to rule on all creatures. Caliph is lower than God, and because has the characteristics of God, can rule upon all humans.
In the end we are narrating a Hadith from holy Imams who said:
We have been created by the God and men were created by us.
