Israel’s strategy area; Pakistan, China, Singapore

I. Pakistan

This country, located in south of Asia, between Iran (from west), Indian Ocean and the sea of Omen (from south), Afghanistan (from north), India (from east), China (from north east). According to this geographical location, Israelis have considered this country to their strategy area and known as one of the countries and areas that Israel’s peripheral strategy contains.
Pakistan is one of the countries that Israelis have always tried to make relations in them. SAVAK and Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, as it was mentioned about Egypt, they tried to establish cryphotographic communications between Israel and Pakistan in the request of Israel.

Israel’s intelligence agency’s interface (Mr. Don Yadyn) has considered and said to me the below subjects in Ankara in a very private way and the subjects that he entined were his personal opinion. But, according to the importance of theme and conviction to this, the mentioned subjects cannot be his personal opinion.
More has been explained below to notice and issue appropriate orders:
The interface claimed that the current policy of the state of Israel is to achieve peace and agreements with Arabs, and with having a normal relation with these countries; Israel wishes to have normal relations with the countries of the region. Therefore, according to this general policy and considering this fat that there are multilateral relations between Israel, Iran, and Turkey, I (the interface) have thought about it that starting to do some activities to make the future relations with Pakistan more normal, it appears that this calling to their intelligence agency is the first step to reach the goal.
After presenting the statements, the interface requested me to negotiate with Pakistan’s intelligence agency representative using the acquaintance I had with him and ask his opinion about it and assess the possibility of achieving it in order to start communications between Israel and Pakistan by this way if possible.
It was said to the interface that why Israel’s agency does not state it formally. He said it was his personal intuition and invention.
Theory:
i. It appears that the interface said the issue with the confident that it will be represented by agency.
ii. It is unlikely that the interface has brought up the statements without informing the agency and the obligation of it.
iii. It is possible that Israel’s intelligence agency has the intention to use SAVAK’s assistance in this field indirectly in order to assess Pakistani government’s readiness in direct action.
In order to gain opportunity to state the issue in order to get your orders, in answer to the interface, it was said that Pakistan’s intelligence agency representative in Ankara (Mr. Ahmad Khaled, Pakistan’s national representative at the anti-disrupt office of Santo) has just immigrated to Turkey and he is not totally familiar to me, his opinion will be asked is appropriate time.

II. China

Tehran is an important place to do activities by Chinese Embassy.
It is possible to contact Chinese Embassy in Tehran by you. If Chinese agree, we can give them useful information about what goes in Soviet Union and also some information about economic issues.

Mr. Mahan: it wasn’t in our cooperation list. We cooperate in Soviet activities in the Arabic countries.
General directorate of SAVAK: Will be included in the new list.
We do not have contacts with Chinese and act warily to them. China’s government situation is suspicious until the next six months.

III. Singapore

Singapore is a small island in south east of Asia, that was one the east ports and biggest naval base of Great Britain in the region.
Israelis, in the course of their goals in the region, had had appearance and penetration in there, and had built the largest database of regional intelligence of Mossad in eastern Asia and had made close relations with Singapore’s intelligence agency.
According to SAVAK’s reports, Singapore’s intelligence agency was getting help from Mossad in order to make protective shields for their high-ranking foreign guests. The request of Singapore’s intelligence agency for getting help from Mossad to protect Mohammad Reza during his trip and appearance in Singapore was an example of them and shows the attendance of Mossad in the region:
To inform you:
