Municipality building in Tabriz

The monument was built in the abandoned and ruined cemetery of Kuy-e No bar with the supervision of the German engineers when Haj Arfae Almalwk Jalili was the head of the municipality.
It contains a clock tower which rings each 15 minutes to warn people of the fact that time flies.
The exterior is of carved stones and its design is according to the German building examples before the world war II .
It is located in the middle of the city on a square known as clock square. Currently it has converted to a museum called the urban and municipality museum which receives visitors every day.
