Ten Commandments of Zionist movement (2)

As mentioned in the previous section, the theme of the first commandment of Zionist movement was that the Jewish nation is superior to all nations and they are chosen and privileged people.
But the target or rather the second commandment of Zionist was saving Jews from the tyranny, oppression, poverty, deprivation and humiliation through migration to a safe place in which their rights, freedoms, respect, and dignity would be regarded.
Of course, discrimination and oppression against Jews will not be only the responsibility of the Europeans to know, but the Jews themselves because of their selfish and limiting thoughts and beliefs were to be blamed. Zionists in the first level, in order to accomplish the ten commands, and started to facilitate the immigration of Jews from Eastern Europe. In this way large amounts of money were received from wealthy or benefactor Jews so that through different crowds and groups, resettle the Jews families in a peaceful land specially at Palestine that in time was part of the Ottoman Empire territories. In 1880 C. the Jewish population living in the Ottoman Empire was very little that is 22 thousand Jews and four hundred thousand Arabs.
the small population of Jews in Palestine was due to the limited migration of the Jewish people, and lack of relation of some of them with Jewish Palestinians families. That is why Jewish charities could easily buy a small amount of land to settle Jewish immigrants.
But in the late 80s of nineteenth century, due to the massive demand of Jews to immigrate to Palestine, the Ottoman Sultan issued an injunction of prohibiting the mass emigration and only individual immigration was allowed. Therefore, the majority of Jews were smuggled into Palestine until the Wing Congress in 1897hich was criticized by Herzl. Because Herzl believed that smuggling travel is not a good way for the return of Jews to Palestine. That is why he also strongly criticized the lovers of Zion who had encouraged smuggling trips, and latter he diverged with "Max Nordau", a Zionist ideologues and famous politicians.
In the first years of the establishment of the World Zionist Organization, Herzl declared: illegal Jewish immigration to Palestine should change into a group, public, official, authorized and organized movement. That is why he repeatedly contacted with the Ottoman Sultan through Ottoman’s government officials, influential and prominent Jews of Europe and some of the Sultan's friends and tried to convince him to issue purchasing a lot of lands in Palestine for Jewish settlement by repaying a large quantities of money and debts of the empire through banks and big Europe money institutions (which were dominated by Jews).
But Herzl's efforts failed and the Sultan objected with migration and transfer of ownership of Palestinian lands to Jews until the end of the nineteenth century. But perhaps one of the reasons for this opposition was the political flavor of the Zionist movement at the time. because Max Nordau noticed to the charity aspect of Zionist movement, while Herzl only paid attention to the political aspect of this movement.
Yes, a large section of the activities of Zionist was immigration during the current century. The Immigration that began from the 90s of the nineteenth century under the banner of migration to Mount Zion, the symbol of Jewish immigration to Palestine, and continued with the large movement of Jewish convoys to Palestine in the twentieth century.
the migration progress due to the time and place of the Jews and the international arena found a new dimension every day and went so far that in less than a hundred years, the Jewish population of Palestine was a hundred and fifty times!
To understand better the high rate of Jewish immigration to Palestine, we should notice that Jewish nation have a low fertility among nations and the increase of their number have nothing to do with the birth amount.
From now on the Zionists carried out the most important clause of the Balfour Declaration, the creation of a Jewish national homeland, by using the negligence of British Mandate authorities (in 1918 and 1948) in Palestine. They also moved out a large number of Jews to Palestine through institutions and populations.
The new arrivals included both legal and illegal ones, all of whom were illegal for all Palestinians and Arabs. The only difference between these two was that legal immigrants were within the official immigration and specified number of them could immigrate to Palestine. But illegal immigrants came to this land out of official statistics, whether in private or in front of the mandate officials. Of course he survey system was under the control of England’s calculations and laws and the type of this country’s relations with the Arabs and the World Zionist Organization and America (in the 40's).
Also the brutal treatment of Nazis with Jews in Germany or occupied by or allied countries with Germany became a perfect excuse for legal and illegal immigrants. in this way, in period of 30s until the end of the mandate of Great Britain in 1948, thousands of Jews , came into the land of Palestine from Eastern Europe in land, sea and air ways.
Zionist did effrontery and besides arousing the public's feelings and thoughts to Nazis’ crimes against the Jews and putting pressure on the government mandate, supported terrorist operations against English citizens who were residents of Palestinian in secret during which a large number of officers, soldiers, policemen, judges, officials and ordinary citizens were killed. This situation continued until the British Government in the face of this group’s pressure agreed to open the gates of Palestine to the flood of Jewish immigrants from Europe!
At the same time the Zionists forced Jews to migrate to Palestine by creating an atmosphere of terror, fear and insecurity against Jews in Arabic countries especially in Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Morocco, which took place in mid-May 1948.
But the process never stopped and in later years, especially during the Cold War, a huge wave of Jewish immigrants arrived in Palestine from the former Soviet Union, and then Russia and the newly independent Republics and Ethiopia.
Of course many of them after arriving in Israel, which was assumed as their paradise, were confronted with an atmosphere of injustice and insecurity, and they had to leave Palestine. But with all said points, the Zionists still use immigration issue as a bargaining chip against other countries and as fulfillment of their internal goals and programs, and they are not willing to lose it.
So the immigration issue was at the head of the enforcement priorities of Zionists and in holy commandment of Zionism which is never stopped and will not be forgotten by Jews. The issue of settlements in Jebel Abu Ghanem was not the first and the last pages of the book of Jewish immigration and settlement in Palestine and it would not be, and the Zionist process will continue until Zionists stick to the second golden command of their ancestral, which is the migration. An issue that automatically justifies the creation of the Jewish national homeland in a safe and comfortable spot of the earth.
Herzl imagined Palestine as the national home in his mind, but he thought that if entrance into this territory is not allowed, they would have adopted elsewhere. That is why he called their movement as political movement of Zionism which referred the Zionist movement as a flexible and realistic one. He first tried to fulfill his dream by buying lands and bribery by deception, and he failed.
After that he examined the possibility of establishing a national homeland elsewhere and of course with the permission of the great powers of the time. He and his colleagues thought of Cyprus, the Sinai, East Desert of Libya, Central or Eastern Africa, and Argentina, the land of mines, forests, plains, cattle, water and vast grounds. But any that were called, found pros and cons. Ten years passed, and every one was demanding the establishment of a Jewish national homeland in the Palestine, the same program in the Wing Congress which emphasized on the Jewish national state in Palestine and was under the protection of the law. Because:
1. Palestine was the promise of God that Jews thought he had promised it to the Israelites for forty centuries ago, thus the immigration was actually returning to the principles of Jewish religious principals and fulfillment of God’s will, and Zionist leaders were able to provide the essence of Jewish emigration by arousing emotions of religious and fundamentalist Jews.
2. Palestinian is the land of blessing and rivers of milk and honey and fertile sources.
3. Palestine is like the heart of the Arabic nation and main thoroughfare of West’s empires and colonies of East. So everyone who dominated it not only is able to build a relationship with the world's superpowers, but also can be entered in the international arena.
4. Palestine was part of an empire which was in deathbed, and each section of it would have fallen into the hands of great powers, especially the United Kingdom which supported the aspirations and goals of the Zionists more than others.
5. Palestine despite of its small size was enough to accommodate the millions of Jews.
Zionists lied about and exaggerated the Palestine’s extent so much to attract Jews of the world are to convince the great powers to the legitimacy of their plan and the possibility of realizing it, with this unrealistic allegation that Palestine is empty, a lie that Jews told a hundred years ago and some gullible and ignorant people believed it. A land without people should have been available to residents without a land!!
Neither the Palestine was without residents nor were Jews all around the world without houses. But Zionists raised a need of housing for the Jewish nation before the nation was really displaced, and developed the conspiratorial Jewish settlement issue.
Herzl was not only looking for a residence, but he wanted a completely independent state. However, when his demands were met with opposition from Sultan Abdul Hamid, he was satisfied to create a Jewish national home elsewhere.
However, he knew that Palestine was better than everywhere, and this was a result that Herzl had reached after years of contacts with foreign and international partners.
He also sought to use international laws and charters to legitimize the occupation of Palestine and receive a so called world's license. That is why these two words can be seen in the notes, letters and messages of Herzl.
He called for an international coverage for his plan, and he believed that the coverage of the position is more important than position, size and geographical and natural features of the land that Israel is supposed to be established in.
That is why we should never forget that the Herzl’s Zionism was not a movement for a Jewish residence, where a variety of economic and social welfare services could be provided there for the poor Hebrews, but it was a realistic and sinister plot to usurp Palestine.
