The 1400-year-old village hosts tourists from many provinces across the country annually thanks to its delightful and pleasant climate and natural tourism highlights.
It is located 80 km from the city of Marand in East Azerbaijan province and has turned to one of the tourism hubs of the province with its mineral and therapeutic waters.
Avindin extends north to the village of Khane Sar, south to the village of Halagh, east to the village of Havistin and west to Kiyamaki mountain. It boasts several spectacular attractions such as a waterfall within the valley with a height of 20 m, massive rocks which are favourite to rock climbers, famous green resort of Lezgeh, well-known springs of Ghezel Cheshme and Zolfi Cheshme Si along with the historic cemetery of Duzlakh which dates back to 500 years ago.
