Squash Ash ( a kind of thick soup) is common in the city of Taft. The Ingredients mainly include, mung, beans, chickpeas, Lentils, squash, onion, oil, pepper, spices, dill and flour.
Ingredients,
Squash, 1 kg
Fried onions, golden, 2 tbsp
Lentils, 100 g
Rice, 75g
Lemon juice, 1 tbsp
Sugar, 1/5 tbsp
Salt, a pinch
Procedure
First put fried onions, and lentils as well as a pinch of salt and let it cook with some water. Then add in rice and let it cook as well. Peel squashes and cut in pieces. Add them and allow to cook. Don't forget to cook over a low flame. From time to time stir Ash till all the ingredients are crushed and well-done. Then sprinkle in sugar and lemon juice as per taste. Check the salt at last. Pour Ash in a desired dish and garnish with fried mint. You can apply meatballs too.
