The emergence of the financial aristocracy
On 9 July 1848 Engels used the same phrase again. She addressed the Kuhloter, the Minister of Prussia and writes:
“Whether Rev. Kuhloter has supported seriously the punishment of even a small part of the savagery and depravity of the German Army, which the government officials were indifferent or had approvingly approach to it and it was greeted by acclamation of the German, and Jewish Poles?
Claims of Jews in Poland are very similar to their later claims in Palestine: Engels actively pursues issues of Poland and in September 1848 he published long papers in this field. He strongly opposite the Prussian and Jews state in the issue of Poland. Engels wrote: If due to the validity of the German-speaking Jews of Poland, the Prussian government gives the right to the territories of Poland annexed to itself, it should generalizes his claim to "around the Europe, half of the Unit-ed States and even parts of Asia" because in these areas The Jews are living and all know that Germany is the public lan-guage of Jews.
In New York and Constantinople [Istanbul], in St. Petersburg and Paris, Jews, and their children are speaking German language from the first years of their life and some of them are even more German than Jews of Posen area.
Engels in this series of articles, knows the support of "old German aristocracy" from the will of the Jews in Poland as a result of the financial ties between these two groups that has continued over the centuries.
Finally, on 21 February 1849 Engels tells some actions of Prince Vindishgarats, the Austrian field marshal, that's against the Jews and he adds:
Everywhere Jews are known as the most dishonest counterfeiters, but this reputation is higher in Austria. They benefited from the revolution and are now punished for it ... everyone who understands the power of the Jews in Austria, he can know that Vindishgarats has bought what an enemy for himself.
The works of Young Marx are also a useful resource for understanding the role of the Rothschild in Europe of that day.
In the years before the 1848 revolution in the papers of Marx sometimes the name of the Rothschild has been used as the symbol of legendary wealth in the world of contemporary capitalism. Marx In his book named ‘’The German Ideology’’, which is written with the help of Engels in the years 1845 -1847 as well, concludes this comparison: "If Kurusus knew Rothschild would overtake him in fortune..."
On October 13, 1848 Karl Marx wrote an article criticizing the economic ideas of Louis Thiers. One of the programs suggested by some MPs in France, was creating a banking network based on public bonds to absorb small liquidity of French farmers, who constitute a major proportion of the population of this country, and this money should be circulated. This is a plan which, as we shall see, Emile Purr implemented and led to the establishment of the Kurdish Bank of Mobylyeh. Thiers was opposed to the plan, claiming that absorbing the liquidity of farmers damages the detriment of small merchants. Marx replied Thiers in this way:
‘’Mr. Thiers is sympathetically interested in the fate of small businessmen who are major French banks! Thus, in the rea-soning of Mr. Thiers, Rothschild has been stood.
This sentence shows that, firstly, at this time, unlike 1840, relations between Thiers and Baron James de Rothschild were friendly, secondly Rothschild was known as one of the major shareholders of "Bank of France".
From late 1848 to 1850, in the published works of Marx and Engels, name of Rothschild cannot be seen. If we know the writings of Marx and Engels, who were active journalists during this period, as the reflection of press space of Europe in that day, so, perhaps this phenomenon indicates that in 1849, the Rothschild strongly and skillfully have been withdrawn against the public eye. The events of Louis-Philippe fall and works of people like Karl Beck and Dyrnvayl became an experience for the Rothschild to continue their political and financial operations with more camouflage.
On November 16, 1848, Marx examined in an article the political forces of Germany after the revolution of February 1848 and he described the position of the Jews as follows: "Jews, since the release of their sect, everywhere, at least in terms of their outstanding representatives, have been stood at the head of counter-revolution.” Marx predicted that the reactionary forces of Germany, in spite of this pandering, once again drive the Jews "into their ghettoes."
On November 27, 1848, Marx reports that large Masonic lodges of Berlin has stopped the activity of Minerva lodge of Cologne, due to the presence of Jews in it. He added: "Everyone knows that the Prussian Crown Prince is the supreme head of the Freemasons of Prussia.
Mark wrote the first book of class war in French from January to November 1850, which was first as a series of articles in the newspaper of Neue Zaynyshh Zeitung and then it was published in book form. This work is an analysis of the gov-ernment of Louis Philippe, 1848 uprisings of France and their next revolutions. In this book the attention has drawn once again to the Rothschild.
Marx writes: In the era of Louis-Philippe nor the French bourgeoisie, but only part of it, "bankers, stock market kings, railway kings, owners of coal and iron mines and forests", namely the "financial aristocracy", ruled. Louis Philippe and Guizot were their political representatives, so Marx calls these years as
"The autocracy of financial aristocracy."
According to Marx, the great budget of state in the last years of the reign of Louis Philippe, was twice as ultra-budget of Napoleon time and it reached 400 million francs in the year. However, the average total exports of French was rarely scored to 750 million francs a year. Thus, large sums were given to the government through a variety of financial collusion and corruption that eventually flowed into the pockets of the financial aristocracy. This group had "direct interest" to owe the government and the government deficit was in fact the main issue of their financial games and the main source of wealth." Therefore, bankers and Rothschild were opposed to any financial reform. Through Railway construction they continue to swallow the funding of government. Many MPs and some ministers were of the shareholders of railway con-struction projects. Marx adds: The reign of Louis Philippe "was nothing but a corporation to plunder national wealth of France whose dividends were divided among ministers, deputies, 240 thousand voters and their supporters. Louis Philippe was the head of this company". Such was the "madness of earn the wealth" spread throughout society, "get rich not by production, but by stealing the wealth of other creatures."
Marx called financial aristocracy as Department of Parasitology over bourgeois society that even the bourgeoisie is tired of him. Thus, the non-dominant sectors of the bourgeoisie cried against corruption, and the people cried and shouted: "Down with the thieves! Down with the assassins!" Marks knows the beginning of the rebellion as the publication of Jews book, kings stroke (Alphonse Tvsnh, 1845) and Rothschild, the first King of the Jews (Dyrnvayl, 1846) that made the people of Paris angry.
Two global economic events increased general dissatisfaction and excitement in the French population:
First, the incidence of fungal diseases of potato and grain shortages in the years of 1845 -1846 that created the famine of Europe in 1847. This famine resulted in bloody clashes in France and across Europe. According to Marx, in spite of "shameless revelry orgies of financial aristocracy, people were struggling for the basic necessities of life. In Bvzanshh famine rebels were shot."
The second incident, was commercial and industrial crisis in England in the autumn of 1847 that led to the general bank-ruptcy and the closure of factories of small businesses. This incident had a huge impact on the European continent. In France big traders, who could no longer hope to foreign markets, turned to the domestic market and this has led to the bankruptcy of small businesses.
Thus a revolution erupted whose hit was more against the “the plutocracy Jews." Louis-Philippe's reign fell but demagogy leaders such as Lamartine and Louis Blanc, who were considered as the spokesman for the working class, were able to calm the people and the interim government allowed the " plutocracy Jewish" before they feed off him. Transformation of the real rulers of France during the Revolution, Marx describes as follows: "At that time all the royalists were transformed into republicans and all the millionaires of Paris transformed into workers."
