Because Israel's Jewish intended to increase their population and no doubt the migration of divorced and single women who could not increase the breed was useless.
Even a woman as Golda Mayyr who was the Prime minister of Zionist from 1969 to 1973 not only could not diminish the volume of men domination but also increase the domination of men since she only used men and no women were employed by her.
So she added on male domination. She recklessly and without any preparation of regime followed the migration of Russian Jews project in the economic and social parts. On the eve of 1971 the inferiority of females remained hidden even from the eyes, women, neglected their unconscious wounds and pains and appreciated the military regime that was thought is their shelter. The army called itself the sole protector of women. In fact, women appreciated Golda Mayyr, the United States and the policy that yielded little positive values and put them more than past in despair and deprivation. Women were completely paralyzed. During the years that Golda Mayyr was assumed as the chairmanship of the Ministers, no one talked about the lack of laws to improve the situation of women, inequality of rights and position, low salary of women in comparison with men, mean job opportunities of women and so on.
In spite of the anomalies in the political situation and moral regression, 1971 and 1973 years were fruitful for Israel. Israeli military leaders put most of their time in traveling to the United States and therefor the high amount of money of Jews in that area entered the Palestine and the US dollar became their concern and the regime's domestic problems were forgotten. But this prosperity in economic parts increased the gap between rich and poor and undoubtedly mentioning women's rights was not valuable. 1973 war was like a lightning that came to Jews and sent all Jews to war. Jews felt a heavy fear and apprehension with all his soul. Men and women who did not participate in the war for some reason, were confused and suffered from lack of identity. Women even more than men found that they have no place in the defense community and they are not the soldiers but they have become a burden for society. With the outbreak of war, the regime entirely stopped and time slowed down through towns and villages once again .women were thrown in the toilets again because there was little movement in the market and it was again into the hands of men and although the occupied territory had been empty from skilled men but since the women of this community were not prepared and were untrained, could not manage the society. When all the personnel were sent from factories to battle it was assumed that the economic cycle will be stopped. Women were disappointed because the time for learning such skills were not prepared and women were untrained and so they could not fill the position of men and they could not work with advanced tools and devices in the fields and factories.
By assessing the facts and the status of women in the Jewish community, women found themselves humiliated, deceived and a victim of ignorance. And although a couple of years before the 1973 war, women's movements had been settled and sometimes a female voice could be heard but these sounds were silenced by the beginning of war. Thus, half of the 3 million and 500 thousand population of the Occupy Land assumed themselves as useless people. Trying to match himself with another (man) increased, and women were participating in the war and wanted to do manly works or at least serve as driver to transport food across the border and in war zones. But such answers were women (yes, it is necessary that all those in between, but women were answered in this way: yes it is necessary someone does these works and we need some drivers but they must be chosen from among men) Women were even prohibited from mundane tasks such as being a postwoman and patriarchal culture increased in the Promised Land so that even if some women were superior to men In war and military training, they had not been used in this field. The nascent movement of women was stopped. This tragedy and view contaminated even the medical world of doctors. Male physicians who may not have any expertise were sent to Golan Heights in Switzerland to cure the injured people and the female doctors who were skilled in fields like surgery, burn and other specialties were sent to Tel Aviv, Birr Saba, Jerusalem, Haifa and Safad to treat the children, patients and survivors of the war. However, before that and during World War II, the Hebrew women were used for plenty of works including procurement, logistics and important programs and engineering divisions in Britain military. But these women and other young girls who did not have fighting ability were used only to stay at home and look forward to their future and to hear their uncertain fate, to hear something from their husbands, fathers, brothers, children, friends and relatives through radio. There were much questions in the minds of these women who had stayed at home including: whether Jews have gone to battle because of us? How will be the views of Israeli soldiers towards us! Whether we will have a destiny after the war and in the shadow of these men who had become a hero? Will we become the servants of these men?
Even the few women who had gone to war, were called back with the influx of Syrian forces in the Golan Heights because they had seen no training and they had not been experienced. Jewish women found that the promise of the Promised Land had been puppet; and they will have no role and they have no place in this land. They also found that they have been the victims of deception and promises. Women became the spectators of manly fields: they will appreciate the heroes, they will attend at the solemn funeral ceremony of soldiers and they will finally worship the heroes. This will be the painful future of the Hebrew women: (In this 18-days war) 2552 Israelis were killed and the number of wounded people reach to the border of 3000). Women of occupied territory had no means of redress the huge damages of war, and no one expect them to do so. This War unveiled the Legend of equality between men and women in the Promised Land. According to the laws of the United States, only 7 duties of the 109 tasks of Air Forces, and 15 duties of 102 tasks of navy forces are prohibited for women.
But the Israeli regime has prohibited more than half of military duties for women.
In the United States, women alongside men participate in military training. But the Jewish women in the occupied territory could learn military training only with their own gender namely the female.
The war that occurred in the October of 1973 destroyed the women’s few opportunities and the potential of Jewish women died under the wheels of war and the army.
After the war because of the crisis, the election of October 1973 was delayed and the opportunism and abuse of Israeli soldiers handicapped the community including: Destroying the human power, women's paralysis and lack of planning. It directed the economy toward the bottlenecks and recession. Labor Party was the sole driver party of Israel until the new Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin that was also the successor of Golda Mayyr was forced to meet the party's demands and the female voices became lower. Movements and awareness of women's patchwork were stopped because of lack of political knowledge. Hundreds of Jews left the occupied territory. Corruption and abuse appeared in all fields of social phenomena and attempt of women to treat the patient's condition and violent division between men and women was useless. Politicians and rulers of military regime that suffered from the mean insight of policy and diplomacy and art of government. The increasing hatred with Arabs have been waged and the needs of the Jewish people were ignored. The immigration of experts and Dynamic minds of Jewish and several corruption scandal of government and employers increased the darkness of situation. And although women had organized and prepared themselves for the 1977 elections, but there was no efficiency and government fell into the hands of reactionaries. Menachem Begin was appointed as the Prime Minister and Moshe Dayan that always used to support the Labor Party was appointed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
While the Zionist regime lived under the boots of soldiers and men, in England, France and West Europe countries and the US, some little were taken for women's rights. In 1971 the Jewish women tried a lot but in those years several were written in English to support women and some authors appeared. Name of women like Germaine Jarir, Kate myelitis and Jessie Bernard had been famous. On this basis, the two Jewish women namely Marlene Safer and Marcia Freedman, the professors at the University of Haifa, had begun the first classes on women's global issues and they tried to absorb the support of western women's movements. The university's Jewish and Arab women presented at these classes with high interest. On the eve of 1972, Marcia Friedman announced the formation of a women's movement and a flood of questions flowed toward her. She followed the United States way in women's awareness and found some followers. The first step of this movement was increasing the confidence of women; this means that women will be able to play an active role in social change. The high fees and tuition, and lack of resources for maintenance of children of women who were engaged in teaching, had made their training hard, but also impossible. In those years the basic steps was creating a kindergarten in college.
Despite frequent conflicts over issues such as these, women reached their goal with the help of left-wing students and in March 1972 the first DAY CARE center of children was created within the university.
Jewish women were surprised of the hatred, malice and enmity of Zionists. These hatreds increase the prejudice of women. No one listened to them, and perhaps openly and secretly ridiculed them. But little by little in Haifa with 180,000 population, followers were founded for women's liberation. However, women were fearful of falling and failure. On one hand Zionism considered himself progressive and know Jewish men and women the same based on mythology and on the other hand some paradox behaviors were emerged. Women, who were fed up from gender inequality in America and Britain, had fled to the Promised Land and now found themselves alone more than ever in the mystery of malice men. As far as some women whose movement were considered conservative in the world view, were addressed infidel and heretic in the occupied territory. Labor became harder for women and baseless accusations were shut to women by Jewish men. The one-dimension of Jewish women’s life and their feeling were ignored and except in the kitchen and bed, woman were not accepted. Women were more and more frightened, especially fear of greedy women who followed this movement because it was thought that due to the incorrect understanding of the women from movement, the fire of hatred will increase in men.
