Note: the waiting family is an ideal and Islam-favored one; however, its pathology is regarded of paramount importance that here to some of the believing and intellectual harms of the waiting family have been pointed.

Introduction:

In Islam view, the man is the head of all creatures and is superior to all being; he is the representative of God on the earth, best created and from birth time is pure and seeking God. Therefore, the man ought to continue this ideal situation and avoids any factor harms this situation. For this end, a widespread part of Islamic and religious teachings planning to keep this favorable condition for man and another part of it is related to the harms to this situation as well as the ways of compensating them.
The first humanistic community in the form of a familial unit was formed by Adam and Eve and they were in the best divine situations till they worshiped God. The story of Adam and Eve and her presence in the paradise narrates from the pathological dimension of the man's life in the person, community and the world. Because, by making of disobedience their life has suffered problem and firing of Adam and Eve from Paradise happens. Based on this, we can point to the importance of pathology to keep of religious and sensible life.

The goal of pathology

The awareness of the harms that may occur in the future has caused the increase of human capability facing them and has a big share in distancing them and keeping the healthy situation. Based on this, getting knowledge and recognition of the Imams' predictions regarding the harms the families suffers in the absence time causes that despite better understanding of difficult and crucial situation of Absence Period, the most possible attempts to reduce those harms and being safe of them is being done and the distance of Absence Era till Emergence time is best passes.

Family terminology

Family from religion view point is a set of people who are responsible that under control of the family head, the father, on the path of God's way grow themselves and in treating the surrounding environment not only take care of their own but also, based on the celestial beliefs to be influential in growing and development of family. Therefore, the family can by practical commitment to believing principals establishes a future community. Today's community is an open one that influential factors in it, especially the family is largely different and widespread. The media, schools , community people and social beliefs of the people each one carries a message for the family that some aiming to either damage this valuable construction or to slow down its progress. In such situation, firstly the family should follow its primary goals and secondly bring a resistance among the members so that they resist those damages. It is such a family that by understanding the representative of God in the life context is trying to concord their treatment with consent of God's representative and develops his own in the path of that absent friend so that not only in the way of humanistic and Genni devils to be resistant but also guide them in the way of God. The waiting family is a family of the Shiite and believers to the religion of twelve Imams that happened in the Absence Period and its members are waiting for Imam Mahdi (AS). It means that they are continually waiting for the Promised Imam like a mother whose son has traveled and is unaware of her and every moment eyes at the door. Therefore, the family who is not passionately worry about the waiting man is not the waiting family. Of course, the feeling of expectation, pain, suffers and passion is a good feeling and suffering of expectation is also delightful. In other word, the waiting family is the one that in the historical process and its social movement sees a prosperous view in which he or she gains all of her or his whishes and achieve them. The waiting family is a complete form of a Islamic and the Shiite family that should be regarded as the pattern of other Islamic families although it is likely this family also faces some harms that we point to two of them.
1- Misunderstanding of the concept of waiting
One of the important harms that severely threaten the waiting family of Imam Mahdi is misunderstanding the concept of Absence. Regarding the situation exists at the time of the Prolonged Absence and infallible Imam is out of the Families reach, some harms threaten the waiting family that one of them is leaving Imam of humanistic society. However, in such a situation it may be thought that imam has traveled to area and at the time of emergence returns that nation.
According to this deviation, the connection between Imam and people is totally off and it is when according to the narrations of Imams ( AS) Imam is alive at the Absence Time , walks among the people , walks on their markets and steps on their rugs but, they do not know him. Hence, all the understandings that narrate the way of Imam's presence other than this is known as deviation of this issue.

 

2- Misunderstanding the concept of waiting
From the concept misunderstood differently in Mahdavi teachings is the expectation for Emergence of Imam Mahdi. So, because of this various understanding and different interpretations the probability for a new harm for the waiting family also arises in which the concept of waiting is emptied of its original meaning and a new meaning is interpreted from that. Waiting from one aspect means eying at something and being prepared from another aspect is interpreted to thinking about different issues, care-taking and resistance is interpreted. In other word, waiting somewhere is regarded as stopping and thinking and somewhere else means being prepared, expectation and preparation that these two meanings seen in the narrations.
In a waiting means thinking and stopping, the family members wait and by enduring the current situation, they accept no religious responsibility for movement. It is because, establishment of an overall government is Imam's duty and they don’t shoulder any responsibility. But in an active try that is a prerequisite for movement, motion, action and preparedness, the waiting family is trying by getting prepared for emergence to help the emergence time happen sooner and by continuous modification step by step the ideal situation arrives.
What is narrated from Islamic narrations in this context indicating that waiting is an action and movement and is not restricted to a psychic and mental situation.
In fact, the duty of a waiting family is concordance of the self will with God's and in this path we ought to submit the volition of God and waiting His intention to happen. On the other side, another set of narrations that help Emergence to occur and emphasizes the positive aspects of waiting indicates that although God has destined Imam to be absent, the true believers, by maintaining their true believe and keeping purity, should do the requirements and give up sins and do shoulder the responsibility. However, the collection of these narrations not only help deep understanding of these narrations but also, secures the man and waiting family from the likely harms.
