Few are good at making dishes out of fresh lamb or calf muscles. Here is a recipe to try a unique cuisine which would please everybody!
Ingredients
Lamb muscles, not removed from the bones, its amount depends on the number of people
Oil for sauteing
Turmeric, salt and pepper, for seasoning
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons brewed saffron
1 Onion for 3 muscles
Set a non-stick frying pan on the stove and grease with oil. Sprinkle in turmeric powder and sauté a bit. Add the muscles and keep sautéing till brownish. Do this over the high heat so that the meat juice is not gone off.
Take a large pot and arrange he sautéed muscles at the bottom. Put them in one layer and cover them with plenty of onion slices. Add in olive oil, saffron, and pepper and reduce the heat to low. Allow the muscles to cook with the juice from meat and onions.
Make sure not to move the muscles before entire cooking. And try to put the onion slices on top of the muscles.
You don't need water at all. Once well-done, move muscles carefully . When onions are fried and golden, sprinkle with salt.
