Israel claims are based on a peaceful pursuit of international psychological practices of warfare pro-Israel to portray the aggressor as the victim. In the same way, peace with Syria means that if Damascus separates itself from Tehran, Tel Aviv will not attempt to fight with Syria.
At the beginning of 2007, some reports were widely published in the Israeli media about significant updating of the Syrian army, including in the field of missile technology with Iran.
Image of an impending war throughout the Middle East exists. In Israel it is reported that Syria, Hezbollah and Iran are prepared for spark of a war in the Levant; and therefore caution Syrian forces have been barred from leaving the country.
In June 2007, a critical group of the Israeli government was informed that at war with Syria military forces' intervention will be definite.
It is now 2008, and the specter of war has re-emerged. Syrian President Bashar Assad said his country is concerned and is prepared for the worst situation again. Despite the fact that America never dares to start a war against Iran, the Iranian army is in complete readiness.
Lebanese and Hezbollah military are also on high alert. Al-Akhbar newspaper, Lebanon published, citing the Syrian president who was speaking at the Arab intellectuals, wrote: While war is not a preferred option, but if Israel declares war against Syria and Lebanon, or if America declares war against Iran, the Syria will be fully prepared.
We should analyze the situation from the perspective of America's interests because the recent war in Lebanon showed that in many ways Israel wanted to stop the war, but it was under pressure by the Bush administration. Therefore, threat of war in the Middle East in the year 2008remains.

Calculation error in the Levant: grounds for war
Tel Aviv intentionally increased tensions with Syria and Lebanon. In 2007, Maj. Gen. Moshe Kaplinsky, the former deputy chief of staff of the Israeli army, said in a press briefing that war between Syria and Israel was unlikely as a response to the growing rumors of war start in late 2006 and early 2007. The Israeli officer also did not refuse the conflicts between Syria and Israel. Gen. Kaplinsky with many Israeli leaders and officials have repeatedly stated that "a miscalculation" will start the fire of war between Syria and Israel in future.
Shortly after the 2006 heavy Israeli defeat in Lebanon, Tel Aviv started stating "justifications" sophisticatedly for more wars with its neighbors in the Levant region. Explanation of Israel about "miscalculation" was extremely vague and threatening.
Miscalculation from the perspective of Tel Aviv includes a series of internal affairs of Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories' events to heroic definition and analyzes such as Syrian reaction to the Israeli enemy. Hidden air attack which was later published by the name of Garden Operation and was done in September 2007 by the sixty-ninth Israeli air force squadrons one of the Syrian facility named Dir Azuyr which name was never heard before, and it could have been a mistake from Syria that will be answered by Israel's anger.
Israeli definition of miscalculation can also be any arbitrary fire into Israel. The Jerusalem Post has defined "miscalculation" that could lead to war between Syria and Israel, and it is when an accident occurs across borders in the form of terrorist attacks that could expand the battle. Such an incident could easily lead to the beginning of the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel. A wrong move can bring about such an incident.
On July 18th 2007, a rocket was fired into Israel by an unknown group. Something that could become a pretext for war. In Syria, Lebanon and the Arab world, it is believed that this is an attempt by Israel and its allies to justify the war in the future.

Peace talks under full control of Tel Aviv
In May 2008, the head of Mossad, Israel's intelligence service, said that peace talks with Syria could lead to war. The newspaper Le Nouvel Observateur reported in July 2007 that Israeli Foreign Minister, Tzipi Livni, rejected the resumption of negotiations with Syria. It was while that he stated Damascus has imposed a problem that must be solved at the regional level.
When he was asked about prospects for peace with Syria, Tzipi replied: Not at all. Syria is looking for a dangerous game in the Middle East, and he added that Syria will always remain a threat to Israel.
These statements revealed Israel's secret agenda. In the context of their public declaration of peace during the summer of 2007, revealed the deception of Tel Aviv.
While Tzipi Livni stated that there will be no peace between Israel and Syria, Ehud Olmert, in an interview with Al-Arabiya television network said that he personally wants peace with Syria. Israeli Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, addressing directly Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, said: you know that I am ready for direct talks with you, and that I am ready to sit with you and talk about peace not war.
A few days later Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced that he wants peace with Syria, but that peace does not mean an immediate peace talks between Syria and Israel and could mean a continuation of the present status. Olmert's remarks were bilateral. According to the Israelis, the threat of war exists as a result of maintaining the present status between Syria and Israel. Remembering these statements is very important because the statements suggest that Israel does not intend to give back the Golan Heights, but as a condition for peace seeks for other things from Syria. It was here that Tehran came to the scene.
Israelis were more blamed due to the fact that in 2007 Prime Minister of the regime, Ehud Olmert, said that he is not worried about the impending war with Syria, instead he is unhappy about the talks about peace between Syria and Israel. Finally, one should ask question about the logic behind the anger of Olmert in connection with the public offer of peace between Syria and Israel.
Of course political realism was used by Israel in connection with Damascus and in trying to separate Syria from Iran. In this regard, Damascus publicly insisted that no secret negotiations has been done between Syria and Israel as a condition for peace.
Rational behavior of Syrian was for insistence on transparency was in order to deprive Israel of any means of hiding efforts to detach Syria from its Middle Eastern allies.
International news agencies have reported widely that Olmert's statements in 2007 has been about sue for peace with Syria. Israeli officials have repeatedly claimed that Syria has consistently refused peace.
These claims are discussed despite the fact that all public records show otherwise. Syrian leader has called for peace talks between Israel and Syria since Ehud Barak and Ariel Sharon. Israel's claims based on the peaceful pursuit is a part of the psychological international warfare of pro-Israel medias to portray the aggressor as the victim. In the same way, peace with Syria means that if Damascus is separate from Tehran, Tel Aviv will not attempt to fight with Syria.
