Ingredients
1 cup Flour1/2 corn flour
2 dessertspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons Butter
2 eggs
Salt and freshly ground black pepper for seasoning
1/2 cup Doogh, a national drink made with yogurt, salt, water and aromatic herbs
1 medium courgette, grated
2 cups sweet corns
Oil for frying
Directions
In a bowl, mix together the flour, corn flour ,baking powder, salt and black pepper powder.In a medium mixing bowl, combine butter, eggs, and Doogh. Add in the above mixture and mix. At the end, add in the grated courgette and sweet corns.
Heat oil in a skillet and take a piece off the mixture and shape into a flat round shape. Put in hot oil and fry bother sides till brownish and crispy. Repeat this with the remaining mixture. Once ready, transfer to a serving dish and serve with fresh Persian bread. Bon Appetit!
