300 g chicken breast, ground1 1/2 cups split peas, cooked
2 tablespoons thyme powder
1 grated onion
1 egg
3 tablespoons chickpea flour
Salt, black pepper and turmeric powder for seasoning
Oil for frying
Directions
Grind the cooked split peas twice. In a mixing bowl, mix well the ground chicken, grated onion, 1 egg, ground split peas and sprinkle with salt, pepper, turmeric, and thyme powder. Make walnut-sized meatballs out of the prepared mixture and roll in chickpea flour. Then fry in hot oil in a non-stick frying pan. Do both sides till golden in color. Once ready, place in a serving dish and garnish with tomatoes and parsley leaves. Serve with fresh bread. Bon Appetit!
